Every time I scrolled through my phone there was post after post with Charles and Kaycee. Either about them, them together or Charles plastering comments all over her posts. Each time I'd see them my blood would practically boil, the thought of her being with someone else was something I couldn't bare to think about. I knew it was my own fault and I deserved to feel this way but it didn't make it any easier. I hadn't spoken to Kaycee since Bahrain, she'd done a pretty good job of avoiding me at the past two races. I'd only see glimpses of her around the paddock, any time she'd see me she would practically run off in the other direction.
"Max" Christian's voice snapped me back into the room. As I looked up he was standing in front of me with some girl. "Max this is Louise she's going to be your new PR Manager" I just nodded and looked back down at my phone.
"Hey it's really nice to meet you" she seemed sweet but I wasn't exactly in the mood for pleasantries. I didn't even look at her I just popped my phone away and got up to get myself sorted for practice. As I did Christian pulled me to one side. "Try not to scare this one off" my last two PR managers had quit after a week or two, it had something to do with the way I was apparently too harsh with them. In all honesty they just irritated the fuck out of me always asking dumb questions and following me round like lost puppies.

To my annoyance Louise followed me around all weekend as well, I couldn't go anywhere without her being there right next to me. Luckily she didn't ask stupid questions which made her slightly more tolerable to have around. "Who's the new girl" Daniel asked as we walked out of the media pen together after the race. "Oh her names Louise she's my new PR manager" I sighed. "She's hot man could be worse" he chuckled nudging me. I really hadn't paid to much attention to it, I guess she was pretty but it didn't really matter to me either way. "have you seen Kaycee" as I asked him he sighed "I don't think she's here this weekend I haven't seen her" that was weird, why wouldn't she be at the race weekend. I couldn't help but wonder if there was something going on with her.

I went with Louise to the RedBull hospitality, she'd arranged some kind of interview. As I sat down the reporter explained that I would have to answer questions about last seasons final race and the decisions made during the safety car. I'd had enough of all these questions and wasn't willing to answer any more. "Yeah I'm not doing that" I said as I got up to leave. "Look I've heard all about your old PR managers, just so you know I'm not going anywhere" she stood in front of me blocking me from leaving. "So sit down and get on with it". I liked that she had balls to stand up to me. Maybe this one would last a little bit longer then the rest. I put my hands up signalling defeat and sat down ready to get the filming started.
