Once we got to Austria Kaycee was still no where to be seen, she wasn't at the house and I still had no idea where she was. Obviously everyone kept asking me, and all I could think of saying was that she decided to stay in the UK for a few more days and didn't want to fly whilst she wasn't 100%. Toto believed every word I said but I could tell by the way Susie and Brandon watched me that they knew there was more to it they were always the only two that never believed me when I covered for her.

I headed to the track before everyone else hoping to avoid them asking me any questions but obviously I wasn't going to be that lucky. Brandon cornered me, I knew it would be him or Susie. "Where's my sister" he raised his eyebrows waiting for an explanation, but I didn't know what to say, I couldn't keep lying and by the way he looked at me he knew there was something going on. Before I could even reply he started talking again. "Don't worry there she is" he laughed and pointed behind me. I turned to look and saw Kaycee just walking through the paddock holding hands with Charles without a care in the world. I was furious with her, how could she just turn up like nothing had happened. "That explains it" he chuckled clearly referring to the fact that she was with Charles but that was the last thing I cared about right now. I left Brandon and went running after her calling out her name. Once I caught up with them she said something to Charles and he smiled and walked off. "Where the fuck have you been" I said expecting some kind of explanation. She sighed and turned to look at me "nowhere" she replied. She was a mess, her skin looked pasty and washed out, and her hair was literally thrown up in a messy bun which clearly hadn't been brushed. "No one's seen you for a week! I've had to cover for you with everyone" Kaycee rolled her eyes and sighed. That's when I noticed how bloodshot they were. "You did that off your own back Em I never asked you to" she basically spat the words at me. I knew this version of her way to well and I knew there was only one direction she was going to go. "Kaycee you can't just turn up and act like nothings happened I've been worried about you" I was so frustrated by how unbothered she was acting. "Thanks for caring but if you don't mind I'd prefer if you left me alone" she flashed me a quick smile, put her glasses on and went straight into the garage. I just followed after her.

I stood on the other side of the garage watching her every move, I could tell she was on something by how fidgety she was but in true Kaycee fashion she hid it from everyone else very well. She had a pair of glasses on that covered her eyes and stayed as far away from her dad as she possibly could. Every so often she'd look over in my direction and then look away knowing full well that I was on to her. After practice she couldn't get out of the garage any quicker, I tried to go after her but she practically disappeared within seconds. There was no doubt she was trying her hardest to avoid me.
