"Kelsie! Get out of bed!" Paul's voice boomed as he opened her bedroom door

"Kelsie! Get out of bed!" Paul's voice boomed as he opened her bedroom door. The girl was supposed to be awake an hour ago, but due to her vampire side not taking away the one thing she wished it would, all she wanted to do was sleep.

"Leave me alone, Paul!" She groaned, rolling over and pulling the covers over herself. She had gotten up briefly an hour ago, to go to the bathroom, then she went back to her bed where it was warm.

"At least come to Sam's. You can sleep there if you want." Her brother's voice sounded softer than before. He had been through this countless times before.

Getting out of bed, Kelsie pulled on a pair of spandex, not bothering for actual pants today, and slipped on a hoodie. Yes, she was a wolf, but her body temperature wasn't as high as the guys' anymore, so she was still comfortable in sweaters and jackets. Kelsie followed Paul out the door and to his truck; but not before going to the bathroom again. Sliding in the passengers seat, Kelsie curled up into a ball, attempting to ease her pain. Getting her period was one thing she wished she didn't have to do. But unfortunately, her human half took over that part of her development. She closed her eyes, and took deep breaths, silently wishing for Paul to start driving. As if Paul was the mind reader, the truck started, and he drove off to Sam and Emily's. It was a daily routine; meeting at Sam's, hanging out for a bit, one or two of them leaving for patrol while the rest of the pack hangs out, eating lunch, or dinner. Anything they did together, they made sure to do at Sam's. Emily loved having the pack around, it made her feel loved.

Soon the siblings arrived at the declared pack house. Paul got out of the truck, walking over to the passengers side to grab his sister. Lifting Kelsie out of the truck, Paul kicked the door closed before heading into the small home that currently held the Uley Pack.

"Hey Paul!" Jared smiled, waving to the boy. Paul struggled to greet him back, as he had a tired Kelsie in his arms.

"What's up with her?" Jared questioned, the smile still on his face.

"She's a female. Take a guess, Nimrod." Paul said sarcastically. Jared shut up and rubbed a hand on his neck, turning to go to living room. Embry and Sam had walked in from said room, both wolves immediately noticing the half asleep girl in her brothers arms.

"She okay?" Sam was the first to speak.

"It's her time of the month, Sam." Emily explained, a small smile on her face. Without question, Embry walked over to Paul, offering to take Kelsie from him.

Wrapping his arms around her, Embry easily took the girl from Paul's arms. Once she realized what was happening, Kelsie wrapped her arms around Embry, nuzzling her head into him.

"You wanna go lay down?" Embry whispered to her, hugging her tightly to his body. Kelsie nodded, humming in response. Smiling slightly, Embry made his way to the living room, where he laid down on the couch. Once he had done that, Kelsie adjusted herself so that she was laying on top of him, her head on his chest. Her arms wrapped around his neck, while his were around her torso.

It took a bit, but with Embry's warmth and the sound of his heartbeat, Kelsie was asleep. He was like a personal heating pad. The two had yet to talk about what they wanted with their relationship. Things were exactly the way they were before the imprint; both were too scared to admit they like each other. They both wanted a relationship, and you could definitely see it, although they haven't spoken about it yet.

The pack surrounded them, with Paul and Jared sitting on the floor leaning against the couch, and Sam and Emily cuddle up in the chair next to them. Their little family enjoyed moments like these; where everything was peaceful, and they could just sit and enjoy each others company. The six of them sat in silence as Mean Girls played in the background. It was one of the few movies of Emily's that the guys didn't mind.

"You really need to ask her out, Emb." Jared spoke, turning his head to look at the two teens on the couch.

"I know. I'm going to. I just need the perfect moment." The boy replied, smiling softly as he moved a piece of hair out of Kelsie's face.

"I'm glad you imprinted on her Embry." Paul said, giving the boy a smile. "I'd rather it be you than anyone else."

"I'm glad I did too. I've liked her for so long, and turns out she's my soulmate." Embry smiled.

"You two are the perfect match." Emily commented, smiling at the two.

"I was so scared I wouldn't get to see her again. After she stopped talking to me. It was the worst two weeks of my life." Embry stated, sighing. He was heartbroken during those weeks, and everyone around him noticed.

"She wouldn't have stayed away for long." Paul smirked. "I would've forced her to talk to you. You're the only that can get her to eat when she's upset."

"Well it's a good thing he shifted right in the prime of her sadness then." Sam joked, causing Jared, Paul, and Emily to laugh.

Embry was confused. Kelsie was upset? Before he shifted? Had she been as heartbroken as he was during those two weeks?

"What do you mean?" Embry asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Kelsie was slipping into a state of depression. She wasn't speaking to anyone, was barely eating, wasn't sleeping. All she wanted was you, but she was too scared that you wouldn't be her imprint." Jared told him. "Well that, and Alpha's orders. She wouldn't be able to talk to you anyways."

"She was spiraling again?" Embry's voice was soft, as if he was scared he would wake Kelsie up.

"Again?" Emily questioned, concern written over her face.

"She went through it when Paul shifted. It was really tough. I hated seeing her like that, but it didn't get as bad as you guys are saying."

"Because she was with you Embry. Even without the imprint, you guys would've found your way to each other." Paul smiled.

"You think so?" The boy smiled a bit, glancing at his imprint.

"We know so." Jared replied. "The universe chose you for each other. You're her person, and she's yours."
