It was late at night when Jordyn was walking through the hallways of her new school, curious to see what's in store in her new student life. No student was out this late in the evening but she seems to be passing by each closed room until she sees a room in the end that's glowing from the inside. She stopped in front of it and slowly turned the knob open and was greeted with a whiff of white smoke and a bright light.
"Is this was heaven looks like" she thought.
She entered the room even if she couldn't see much, she could sense someone is in front of her. She indeed saw a silhouette of a person with its back towards her. As she was approaching the figure, she felt like she was being pulled further away instead of coming closer towards the silhouette until it all became dark.
*RING* *RING* *RING*
Jordyn suddenly woke up and silenced her alarm on her phone.
"Well that was a weird dream." she thought.
She stretched her arms before checking her phone again seeing messages from her cousin and best friend.
From: Princess Stevie
Goodmorning J.R! Excited ako for today! Sunduin kita sa bahay mo ng 7:15 ah para d tayo matraffic. Wag ka mashado papogi diyan! Baka tubuan ka ng balbas diyan ng tuluyan. HAHA! See you pangit! :*
Jordyn just laughed off at her best friend's early morning "greetings". Stevie has been her best friend for years now and they show their care and affection usually by playful banters and insults that only they can do to one another but Stevie has always been protective of her most especially after the accident, they became closer than ever as Stevie promised her that she will always be there for Jordyn no matter what and help and protect her. So as Jordyn and her father were moving from Laguna to Manila, Stevie asked her parents who were working overseas if she can move to Manila too. At first her parents were skeptical but they trusted Stevie and they knew that their daughter was independent since she was a young girl and they were also convinced that it will also be a good way for Stevie to adjust to life in Manila before entering college since both her and Jordyn are currently at grade 12.

Umagang-umaga pinapainit mo ulo ko StevEN ah! HAHA! Oo na! I'll be done once you get here. Ingat sa byahe tsaka ahit mo mustache mo bago umalis ng bahay ah! HAHA! See you. :*
She chuckled at her own reply before sending the message and opening a new one from her cousin.
From: Cous Aubrey
Magandang umaga Couz! I can't wait to see you later at school! I missed you! Sure ka ayaw mo magpasundo ngayong umaga?
Jordyn smiled widely at her phone upon reading the message. Aubrey is her closest cousin since they were little kids and always bonded the most in family reunions. Although Aubrey had to move to Manila on her high school years because of her parent's work, they remained in touch and Aubrey visited her during holidays but they haven't seen each other for 2 years because of schedule conflicts but they still message each other regularly.

Magandang umaga din sa iyo ang napakaganda kong Couz! :D Oo, kasama ko si Stevie papuntang school nakakotse naman siya at madadaanan tlga niya ang bahay kaya wag ka magalala. Itxt nlng kita pag nakaschool na ako ok? Ingat Couz! Miss narin kta! Excited nako makita ka muli. <3
As she sent the message, she took her towel and proceeded to go to the bathroom and prepare for school.
