Jordyn and Stevie are currently in the principal's office as per instructions of the registrar since Jordyn was expected to enroll today and the principal wants to talk to her personally before the day ends.

They were almost done with their enrollment and they just need a few more stops before they can leave to have an early lunch.

Both girls were sitting on the bench just in front of the secretary who was typing away in her computer waiting for the principal to buzz them in and enter her room.

Stevie: "Sakit ng pwet ko sa kakanginig mo sa upuan, kalma mo hita mo please?" she scolded Jordyn who can't stop shaking her right thigh on the bench that they're sitting on.

Jordyn: (signing) "Sorry."

Stevie: "Bakit ka kinakabahan? Hindi ka naman in trouble. Kausapin ka lang naman ng principal." she laughed lightly as she set her phone on her lap and looked at her best friend who looks nervous.

Jordyn (signing): "I know that, it's just... I feel uncomfortable that i'll become a bother to the school because of my condition."

Stevie jokingly nudged Jordyn's shoulder to let her loosen up so she just smiled back and started opening her sketchbook to try and calm herself which usually works.

After a few minutes, the secretary told them to proceed towards the principal's office in which both girls entered together.

At the courtyard:

Calliope and Mackenzie were walking towards the registrar and they can feel almost all eyes were on them.

They knew they were popular individually but most especially when they are a trio along with Gillian, they were known in school as the "Intimidating trio" since they have well-off parents, but also since they were all good-looking, usually wears gender-neutral to boyish outfits while wearing flat affect facial expressions.

They don't socialize that much in school except amongst themselves but a lot of people want to be their friends since they are not only popular but because people knew a few years ago that it's not an good option to be their enemy. They often got into fights in their earlier years in high school when they were being crossed. It often starts with one of them but rest assured the other 2 will follow in the riot since  they back each other up & they know how to fight back. It was also a factor that both Mackenzie and Gil's parents being one of the top donors of their school every year making their families well-known in the community and it doesn't help that Mackenzie's dad is a high-ranked official in their town precinct.

So people know not to mess with them.

So it doesn't come to a surprise that the stares of the students are either from intimidation, jealousy, fear, and in some cases; admiration. As they are also considered "campus crushes" from they looks, money, intelligence and talent.

Gillian usually enjoys the attention but the other two don't but they just leave it as it is and keep to themselves.

As both girls are in line, some students in front who know them made way for them to go ahead in which they declined and told them that they are waiting for Gil anyway.

Mackenzie: "Is it weird for you when they treat us like this?"

Mackenzie: "Hmmm.. You have a point."

They suddenly felt the murmurs started to get louder and as they turned, they saw Gil along with her girlfriend Aubrey walking towards them hand in hand.

Gil: "Goodmorning guys, sorry we're late. Naabutan na kami ng traffic nung sinundo ko si Aubrey sakanila." looking at her friends apologetically.

Aubrey: "Goodmorning Calliope and Mackenzie." she smiled at the two girls infront of them showing off her warm, charming smile.

Calliope gave them a small wave acknowledging her friend's girlfriend's greeting while Mackenzie gave them a shy smile and suddenly felt more interested in the ground all of the sudden.

Gil: "So, shall I help you find your cousin Brey?"

Aubrey: "No I'm ok, actually I have to meet up with Ma'am Lopez at the auditorium now. I texted naman Couz, she said she'll meet me in a little while after her enrollment.  I have to go, see you later ok?"

Gil: "Ok, text me?"

Aubrey kissed Gil's cheeks and gives Gil's friends a wave before heading towards the auditorium with Gil looking over her one more time before looking away and faced her friends.

Gil: "Kamusta naman summer niyo?"

Calliope: "Dapat kami magtanung niyan sayo, galing kang Canada for 2 weeks eh."

Nsa kotse pala mga pasalubong ninyo." she shrugged her shoulders. "Ikaw Kenzie, how was L.A.?"

Mackenzie looked at them a little shock, she seemed out of it a while so she had the question repeated again.

Mackenzie: "Oh, i-it was good. We just went to as much amusement parks as we can because we were there for only a week because it was a last minute thing. You know naman dad can't leave for that long especially since the promotion."

Calliope looked over her best friend's demeanor and noticed a slight oddness but chose not to say anything. Maybe  Mackenzie just spaced out she guessed.

Gil: "Ikaw naman Callie, how was the rest of your summer."

Gil: "O nga noh, you got the job fixing the computers and printers in the offices. Dad said you're really good."

Calliope: "Hindi naman."

Mackenzie: "We know that you've been good at fixing electronics for a while now. You don't have to be modest around us."

Calliope: "Hindi rin." She looked down and scratched the back of her neck feeling embarrassed all the sudden.

Gil: "Hay nako Callie, always so humble. You should take credit once in a while."

Calliope: "Ginagawa ko kaya iyon."

Gil: "Taking the credit of putting exploding dye color on Tyler Mendoza's locker doesn't count."

Sinabi ko lang pangalan mo tapus they said "Yes" immediately. They were more than happy to help."

Calliope: "Kaya pala lagi nila ako tinititigan nun, akala ko may dumi ako sa mukha nung time na iyon."

Gil: "Sus, poging pogi sila nun sayo for sure."

Calliope: "Tsk. Ang creepy kaya nila tumitig. Buti nalang hindi ko binigay number ko sakanila nung hiningi nila."

Mackenzie and Gil laughed at their friend's disgusted face before they reached the front of the registrar's office to fill out their paperwork for enrollment.
