After breakfast, the teenagers bid their goodbyes to the Apulis with Mackenzie and Calliope deciding to drop off the cousins before going  back to Ampules to get the latter's motorcycle since Gillian still hasn't fully recovered from her handover just yet and she said that her car is going to be brought back to her home by one of the workers from the restau-bar tonight when her dad drops by the establishment.

It was a quiet ride with just faint music playing in the background from the car speakers with the cousins seated in the backseat while Mackenzie is driving and Calliope was sitting beside her.

In the outside, it looked like northing out of the ordinary but to Calliope and Jordyn it was awkward since both girl's felt shame from earlier with Calliope not knowing that Jordyn was a mute and made indirectly crude jokes to her while at the dinning table while Jordyn felt embarrassed not telling Calliope immediately, but she sometimes forgets to tell people about her condition making things usually awkward just like what she is feeling right now.

In less than an hour, they arrived in Calliope's house with the help of Aubrey who told them the direction as the older girl decided to spend the day with Jordyn because her parents were attending a wedding at Tagaytay that day and no one was home.

The two girls in the front seat got out of the car first with Calliope opening the car door for Aubrey and Jordyn to exit while holding her hand out for them to take, which is one of the "acts" that Aubrey mentions as how the usual stoic girl shows as a sign of sweetness and care to those she consider as "close" to her.

Aubrey got out first and gave a friendly smile to Calliope followed by Jordyn who kept glancing at her at the rear view mirror during the whole car ride, but Calliope never looked back or in this case; was too ashamed to catch a glimpse of the taller girl; so as Jordyn was descending the car, that was the first time they made eye contact since the phone call.

They stared at each other for a few seconds until the front gate opened making them turn around and Calliope saw a older man staring at them with a smile on his face.

"Jordyn! Aubrey! Nandito na pala kayo."

Aubrey: "Mano po, Uncle." she blessed his hand and Jordyn doing the same then stood beside him. "Siya nga pala Tito, this is Calliope and Mackenzie. Classmates ko po. They might be Jordyn's classmates too this year. Guys, Uncle Thomas; dad ni Jordyn."

The two bestfriends came closer to Thomas and blessed his hand as a sign of respect.

Thomas: "Nice to meet you both. Isa ba sainyo ang girlfriend ng pamangkin ko?" Calliope tried not to grin while Mackenzie chuckled awkwardly while she had her head down.

Aubrey: "Ay hindi po Uncle." she giggled. "Bestfriends po nila actually si Gillian, kaso hindi na sumama kasi masakit ang ulo kaya sina Mackenzie nalang daw maghatid saamin."

Thomas: "Ahhh ganoon ba? Sige, gusto niyo ba ng juice or biscuits muna?" he asked the two teenagers standing infront of him.

Calliope: "Uhhh.. Hindi na po, Sir. Nakakahiya naman po. Kumain na po kami ng breakfast."

Thomas: "Oh kahit juice lang. Sige na."

Calliope was about to say "No" once again when Mackenzie whispered in her ear all of the sudden.

Mackenzie: "Uhhh Callie, I have to use the bathroom though." having an embarrassed look on her face.

Calliope gave her bestfriend a bewildered stare before she sighed and looked back  at Thomas who was sporting a friendly grin while Jordyn and Aubrey doing the same thing.
