XIX- I Can't Be Perfect

4 bottles of beer each and a now empty bottle of red wine later, you can feel the tipsiness of the two close friends at the table as Gil was busy laughing while reminiscing about old stories of her and Calliope along with Mackenzie back then especially the pranks and trouble they got into together as Calliope just slightly chuckling along remembering the moments they had together.

The Intimidating trio have been friends for years now and they have always been inseparable in school and usually spend their free time together as well but was slightly impaired when Gillian started dating Aubrey a year ago but still makes enough time for her friends which makes their bond strong and admired by others since they had each other's back so it was no surprise that when push comes to shove they can always count on each other. 

Gillian: "I really hope after this year, we still will be together." She hiccupped after while eating their peanuts and drank their water with Calliope insisting they stop drinking thinking they might be pushed over the edge and she doesn't want any of them to get sick or pass out while waiting for Mackenzie to pick them up especially since Gillian has this tendency to go overboard with the drinking at times so she had to remain the responsible one as Gil's parents trust her to watch over their daughter.

Calliope: "Sigurado ka ba magsasama pa tayo after natin gumaduate?" she chuckled again knowing it's a far-fetched idea since they have different goals in life and their family must have a plan for them as well. She wasn't even sure what her plan was for herself after this school year.

Gillian: "I told you, sabihin mo lang saakin saan ka magaaral sa college and Kenz and I will follow you there." taking a sip of her water as Calliope persuaded her to drink lots of thinking atleast it'll remove some of the alcohol in her system.

Calliope: "Sabi ko nga sa iyo, I don't know what to do after college." she looked at her friend sternly.

Gillian: "I know that, kaya nga may Guidance Councilor tayo eh tsaka diba may Career Day din sa school in a few month? I'm sure may mahanap ka na gugustuhin mo kunin. Willing to wait naman kami ni Kenz, like sa fast-foods." chuckling while taking a large bite of her half eaten pepperoni pizza.

Calliope: "Eh paano sina Tita? Hindi ba may balak sila na "Dream College" para sa iyo? Eh si Aubrey? Hindi mo ba siya susundan din?" She tried to explain to the girl in front of her giving her reasons to not put her dreams on the line just of her sake.

Gillian: "Cal, wag mo na ako intindihin ok? No matter what happens, ako parin magdedecide sa life ko. And I know mom, dad and Brey will always support me. And right now, I decide to wait for you to think what you want to do for your future. I am not rushing you. I can go wherever I want and whatever course I will take; I can choose if I want to study abroad, here, with you guys, with Aubrey.. No matter where but I will always be here to support you ok? Tandaan mo, hindi ka magisa sa buhay. Kayo ni Tita Char. Marami kami andito para sainyo." she held Calliope's hand and gave it a squeeze before letting it go since her friend will always have intimacy issues but that simple gesture was more than enough to convey what she is feeling and was rewarded with a sad but grateful smile from the Alpha of the group.

Calliope: "Thanks G. I mean it."

Gillian: "I know you do."

Calliope: "Hindi ko alam paano kami makabayad sa kabaitan na pinapakita ninyo ng pamilya mo saamin ni Mama for all these years."

Gillian: "Naniningil ba kami?" she chuckled. "Your friendship and kindness towards us is enough that's what my mom keeps telling your mom and besides; Tita Charlene is helping dad with the financial aspects in the business and you help out too in the office with the computers and other equipment. Talented ka talaga sa mga ganyan kahit nung bata pa tayo. Laki din tulong ninyo saamin kung hindi mo lang alam."
