Aubrey: "Sorry for the inconvenience talaga Mackenzie." Looking apologetically at the girl in the driver's seat.
Mackenzie: "it's no problem really. Sanay na ako sakanila. Hehe. Kung hindi lang ako nagkaruon ng brunch with the family kanina sasamahan ko sana mga iyan." She chuckled staring back at Aubrey through the rear view mirror but she frowned a bit seeing Aubrey stroking Gillian's head that was on the girl's lap so Mackenzie just averted her eyes on the other two girls behind them instead.
Jordyn had her eyes on the window while Calliope was slowly swaying on her seat trying her best to not sleep but her eyes were already slightly heavy and drooping shut from time to time.
Mackenzie's thoughts were cut off when she heard thunder nearby which startled almost everyone in the car as a gush of rain started pouring down at the car waking up Gillian and Calliope instantly but caused them to have a headache in the process.
Gillian: "W-what happened?" she asked groggily.
Mackenzie: "The rain just appeared all of the sudden so did the thunder." she explained slowing down the car due to the continuous rain slightly blocking her vision of the road.
Aubrey: "Dahan-dahan lang sa pag-drive Mackenzie ah." looking worried.
Calliope: "Kaya mo ba Pre?" she asked while holding her head trying to steady her headache.
Mackenzie: "I think so, unahin muna natin si Gillian since closer siya dito tapus we'll wait for the rain to settle is it ok?"
Gillian: "Sige Kenz, duon muna tayo sa bahay hopefully hihina ang ulan mamaya."
Mackenzie then nodded and carefully drove the car through the streets towards the Apuli residences with Gillian returned to her original position earlier resting her head on her girlfriend's lap while Aubrey gently massaged her head since it was still throbbing a bit while Calliope tried to steady her head movements having the same problem as well.
Calliope then saw a half drank bottle of water being held in front of her by Jordyn who offered it to her with a soft smile. At first she hesitated but she took it feeling the dryness on her throat from the alcohol.
Calliope: "Thank you."
She gulped down the clear liquid greedily until she finished it and leaned her head back to the seat once again still experiencing the stinging on her head. Jordyn wished she brought some medicine to help with Caliope's predicament. She then instinctively guided the drunk girl's head and placed it on her shoulder so she can lean on it and not make the girl's head shake during the ride and ease her discomfort.
If Calliope was sober she wouldn't do it that's for sure but now she had no other choice since she did felt her head aching every time it swayed too much along with the fact she is drunk and no energy to resist, she just accepted Jordyn's silent offer. She felt at ease instantly that she closed her eyes enjoying the sweet scent of Jordyn's perfume whiffing through her nose as she dozed off.
It took them around less than 10 minutes to arrive at Gillian's home with Mackenzie parking the car near the entrance for the girls to run inside the house as the thunder continued to appear every 1-2 minutes with the rain and wind continued to pour and gust through.
Gina: "Oh, mga bata. Buti nandito kayo, lakas ng ulan ngayon. Hala, nabasa kayo! Manang Nida, pakikuha ng tuwalya ang mga bata please tsaka mainit na kape or tsokolate." she asked their housekeeper while she saw both Gillian and Calliope being assisted inside by both Aubrey and Jordyn. "Sino nagdala sainyo dito?"
