Stevie and Aubrey joined Jordyn and her father for dinner after they dropped off Maia back to school since she had somewhere to go with her younger sister, Shannen.
Aubrey: "Thank you for the dinner, Uncle. Namiss ko kayo nina Jordyn. I'm happy nandito kayo sa Manila."
Thomas: "You're welcome Aubrey. O nga eh, miss narin namin kayo ng pamilya mo. Maraming salamat din sa Papa mo na pinaStay kami dito sa dating bahay ng Kuya Aaron mo."
Aubrey: "No worries Uncle. Ayaw rin po ni Kuya iparent sa iba kasi sayang daw ang pagrenovate niya sa bahay na ito. And it's good that family din ang gagamit daw sa house knowing it'll be taken care of." she smiled warmly at her uncle and cousin.
Aubrey always had this innate charm in her not just physically but also by the way she speaks to others and carries herself. Jordyn noticed that ever since they were younger so Aubrey was Jordyn's role model and she was always what she strived to be although she knew she was unfortunately the bipolar opposite of her cousin even before the accident.
Aubrey has always been a social butterfly; Jordyn prefers to be a wallflower.
Aubrey has been joining pageants and isn't shy to speak in public; Jordyn prefers to draw and usually keeps to herself.
Aubrey walks with confidence with her head held up high while Jordyn usually crosses her arms around herself with head lay low and stares at the ground.
Jordyn always wanted to be like Aubrey and her mother encouraged her to do so since she too is impressed of Aubrey's behavior in just a young age but Jordyn then realized that it will never happen especially now in her condition so she chose to just accept it.
Thomas: "Jordyn? Anak?!"
Jordyn suddenly was brought back into reality when her father started calling her name. She didn't realize that she spaced out as they were just finishing up dessert.
Thomas: "Ok ka lang?"
Thomas, Aubrey and Stevie were looking at her with concern so she just nodded absentmindedly.
Jordyn (Signing while mouthing the words): "Yes Papa, I'm just a little tired from today. Sorry about it."
They all nodded by her answer.
When they were done with dinner, Stevie and Aubrey insisted to help clean up but Thomas told them to not bother before shooing them away from the kitchen.
Stevie was in the restroom when Aubrey was looking around her older brother's old house and sees numerous paintings of Jordyn framed around the house along with pictures of Jordyn, her Uncle Thomas and her Aunt Julia.
Aubrey picked up a framed photo by the sofa of Jordyn when she was younger probably starting pre-school, she was hugging her mother while they were holding a painting of a house with a sun and a dog on it.
Aubrey: "I remember you saying that this was the first painting you did for Auntie." she said to Jordyn as she saw her approaching her left side through her peripheral vision.
Jordyn nodded.
Jordyn (Signing while mouthing the words): "I was so proud that day, she looked so happy seeing it even if it looks like that."
Aubrey: *snickering* "Hey, your painting didn't look like a preschool did it ok? And I'm sure Auntie knew you already had the talent back then."
Jordyn gave a tight-lip smile while Aubrey wrapped her left arm around her cousin's shoulder giving her comfort.
Aubrey: "I miss her too Cous, I'm sure she's watching over you and is proud of you." looking at Jordyn sincerely with a smile.
Jordyn (Signing while mouthing the words): "I'm sure she's proud of you too. You are like a daughter to her too."
