Davina woke up staring at a concrete wall, she looked around her and realized that she's in jail. There was another prisoner there with her. Whistling a tune before catching her gaze.
"What are you lookin' at, sister?" Aegon snapped.
"Hey, Aegon! Manners." Marco demanded "We have a guest. So you are, uh, Hazel's mother?" Davina nodded as she sat up on the jail cell bed. "How lovely for her to have you back in her life."
"Actually, I was just dropping her off." Davina corrected
"Pft, don't blame ya." Aegon agreed. "They're all brats, who needs 'em."
"Well, I'd give anything for one. My wife and I, we tried for many years. But, uh, he was not meant to be." Marco remarked.
"Well cry me a river." Aegon spat back. Davina looked to the door as Criston came in and unlocked Aegon's cell.
"Aegon... If I'm going to let you out, you need to behave. Put on a smile and stay out of trouble." Criston demanded and Aegon smiled sarcastically, and left. Criston smiled back at Davina.
"Seriously?" She countered.
"Alicent's drinks are a little stronger than we thought." Criston mused.
"I wasn't drunk." Davina spat back as she leaned on the cell bars. "There was a wolf standing in the middle of the road."
"A wolf. Right." Criston chuckled spinning the keys on his finger debating letting her go when Alicent came running in calling for Criston.
"Cole! Hazel's run away again. We have to..." Alicent began and then she saw Davina. "What is she doing here? Do you know where Hazel is?"
"Honey, I haven't seen her since I dropped her at your house. And, I have a pretty good alibi." Davina countered gesturing at the cell.
"Yeah, well, she wasn't in her room this morning." Alicent spat back.
"We were supposed to get coco this morning." Criston remarked checking his watch. "Did you check grannies?"
"Of course I did!" Alicent shouted in a panic.
"Did you try her friends?" Davina countered.
"She doesn't really have any. She's kind of a loner." Alicent remarked.
"Every kid has friends." Davina countered.
"She is close with the Vela boys." Criston remarked. "Luke and Jace." Alicent stared back at him, how did she not know that?
"Did you check her computer?" Davina offered. Alicent glared back at Davina. "If she's close to those boys, she'd be emailing them."
"And you know this how?" Alicent spat back.
"Finding people is what I do. Here's an idea. How about you guys let me out and I'll help you find Hazel." Davina offered.
