"Can we play at the castle today!" Hazel questioned. THeir teacher hushed them but Hazel waved a dismissive hand.
"Yeah," Luke agreed softly.
"How do I get Syrax to come live at my house forever? He's so cute-"
"She." Luke corrected softly.
"She." Hazel agreed. "How can you even tell they are so little."
"Shh, Miss Hightower-"
"Hazel Hightower, at your service!" Hazel agreed standing up and saluting her.
"Please take a seat and be quiet, are you teaching this lesson or am I?"
"I could teach it," Hazel offered marching to the front of the classroom and grabbing the chalk. "Today we are talking about dragons."
"This is mathematics."
"Yeah and I hate math." Hazel agreed. "Dragons are at least fun for everyone."
"Heaven help us.''
"Hazel take a seat!" Luke begged laughing out.
"Now, today we are talking about Dragons, as I said and how to tell them apart, lets go grab Syra from Ms. Nyra's room and try and figure it out so we can have baby dragons." Hazel declared tossing the chalk in the air and running out of the room.
"Hazel Hightower!"
Luke's mouth gaped open as he smiled back at her. She popped her head back in and waved at Luke to follow her.
"That was my cue for a jail break." She whisper shouted to the class and suddenly they were all running out of the class.
"DENTENTION!" their teacher shouted. "For all of you! Detention!"

The bell rang for end of day and Hazel smiled back at Davina glad she was picking her up from school before running after Luke chasing him around the playground.
"It's good to see her smile back" Nyra remarked
"I didn't do anything." Davina corrected.
" You stayed" Nyra corrected. "So, does the Mayor know you're still here?"
"Oh, she knows" Davina agreed through a huff. "What is her deal? She's not a great people person. How did she get elected?"
"She's been mayor for as long as I can remember. No one's ever been brave enough to run against her. She inspires quite a bit of, well, fear. I'm afraid I only made that worse by giving Hazel that book. Now she thinks Alicent is the Evil Queen." Nyra remarked sadly.
"Who does she think you are?" Davina pondered.
"Oh, it's silly." Nyra remarked with a blush.
"I just got five minutes of silly. Lay it on me."
"The princess and Heir to the iron throne. Rhaenyra Targaryen." Nyra remarked. "Who does she think you are?" Davina stared back at her a moment longer, that would make Nyra her niece.
"I'm not in the book." Davina offered. "Can I ask you a favor?" Nyra nodded. " ALicent mentioned the kid's in therapy. Do you know where I could find the doctor?"

"You almost got us all detention!" Luke declared as Hazel got to the top of their castle.
"Almost is the key word honey, almost and admit it math it boring." Hazel remarked.
"Math is boring." Luke agreed. "Have you figured out how to get us back into the book?"
"I was thinking and what if I get you back into the book, trapped no more in this world of math and homework and I can't come with." Hazel remarked.
"Why wouldnt you be able to come with?" LUke countered.
"Because I was born in this world. Not westeros." Hazel answered.
"Then I dont want to go back." Luke declared without any hesitation.
"You would stay here in this awful world for me?" Hazel questioned.
"I would." Luke agreed. "What is life without Hazel Hightower?" Hazel smiled back at him, so this was love.

"Davina Tate." Victor remarked as Davina came into his office. "I was, uh, just reading about you." He held up the paper. Davinas face plastered on the front. "Let me guess – you're here for a little help with post traumatic stress?" Victor offered. Davina blinked back at him as she closed the door. "...That diagnosis was free, by the way."
"No, I'm here about Hazel.' Davina corrected.
"I'm sorry. I... I really shouldn't-"
"I know, I'm sorry. Just tell me something. This fairy tale obsession – what is causing it? I mean, she thinks everyone is a character in her book." Davina declared sitting across from him. "That's... crazy." Davina remarked and Victor sighed.
"I-I hope you don't talk that way in front of her." Victor countered seriously. "The word crazy is, um, quite damaging. These stories... They're her language." Victor remarked and Davina pursed her lips. "She has no idea how to express complex emotion, so she's translating as best she can. This is how she communicates, when she's using this book to help deal with her problems."
"But she got the book a month ago. Has she been seeing you longer than that?" Davina countered.
"Um, yes, she has." Victor admitted.
"So it's Alicent, isn't it?" Davina demanded. Victor swallowed the lump in his throat.
"Uh, her mother is, uh, a very complicated woman. And, uh, over the years, her attempts to try and bring Hazel close to her... well it only backfired." Davina's gaze narrowed in on him. "Why don't you take a look at the file? Um, see what I mean." Victor got up moving to the file cabinet with shaky hands. He held it back to Davina.
"Why are you doing this?" Davina countered as she took it flipping through it.
"We talked about you a lot. And you're very important to Hazel." Victor remarked.
"Thank you." Davina rasped as she got up.
"Just, uh, see that I get it back, okay?" Davina nodded moving to the door. "And Miss Tate. Just for the sake of the girl, be careful how to handle her belief system. Destroying her imagination would be...be devastating."
As soon as Davina left Victor pulled out his phone staring down at it before dialing. It rang out and he felt worse and worse about what he was doing considering how much Davina seemed to already care about Hazel.
" You were right. She was just here."
"Did she take the file?" Alicent questioned.
"Yes." Victor agreed. "H-How did you know that she was going to come here?"
"Because I'm the one who gave her the idea." Alicent answered smugly.
