"Yes on home homework, no on TV, and stay inside.... Luke and I have a project-"
"No you dont." Alicent countered
"Howndo you always know Witch?"
" Under no circumstance do you leave this house, Hazel."
"You mean, don't see my mom." Hazel sassed. Alicent stared trying not to glare but failed.
"She's not your mother. She's just a woman passing through. Now, do as I say, or there will be consequences. I'll be back at five sharp."
Hazel watched her pull out of the drive before grabbing her bag and racing out
"Stay put." Hazel scoffed. "Does she know me at all?"
"Um dad, I have a school project with Hazel..." Luke offered slipping on his shoes as hazel summoned him outside.
"Okay, have fun, be back for dinner!" Lenny called out.
"He doesnt have-" Jace began.
"Shut up." Hazel warned pointing a finger at him through the window.
"Thanks dad!" Luke called out. "Where are we going?"
"Hello princess." Otto said tipping his head to Hazel as he left Nyra's apartment. Davina was ready to slam the door but Hazel had appeared like a ghost.
" Do you know who that is?" Hazel questioned pulling luke inside.
"Yeah, course I do." Davina agreed confused.
" Who? Cause I'm still trying to figure it out. I sort of thought maybe my mom's dad but they hate each other so that doesnt seem right but-"
"Oh. I meant in reality." Davina corrected
" Is that all you brought?" Hazel questioned looking at the two boxes on the spare bed.
"Hazel, what are you doing here?"
"My mom's gone til five. I thought we could hang out. You, me, my boyfriend, get to know your future son in law better." Hazel suggested.
"Hi." Luke waved back at her.
"Ah, kid. I wish I could. But there's something I got to do." Davina countered.
"Please let me help." Hazel begged chasing after her.
"No! No, it could be dangerous."
"The pregnant maid is dangerous?" Luke laughed back. "I know Helan, she is always been sweet to me."
"You met Helan? She's Princess Helaena, your niece." Hazel informed her. "Have you met Aegon? YOu know Aemond already, he gives me free drinks."
"I dont think I like another boy giving you gifts." Luke countered.
"You going to fight Aemond for my heart? I dont think that will end well." Hazel warned.
"Helan assaulted Mr. Otto." Davina cut in
" Cool!" Hazel declared.
"Badass." Luke agreed.
"This isn't a game. She's desperate."
" How do you know?" Hazel countered.
"Because I know." Davina informed her
"Well, then let's find her." Luke agreed.
"Oh, no, no, no, no. There is no let's. You cannot come with me. Neither of you! Your dad and your mom-"
"You are my mom." Hazel corrected.
"My dad knows I get into trouble with Hazel, he's used to it." Luke added. "I'm supposed to be doing homework right now."
"Me too." Hazel agreed
"Guys-"
" Then we'll look for her ourselves." Hazel decided.
"Then I'll find you and I'll bring you back."
"Then you wouldn't be helping the princess in disguise." Hazel countered
" I am just trying to be responsible, here. This is new for me, I'm not the responsible one guys." Davina admitted.
"And I'm just trying to spend time with you." Hazel remarked pulling open Davina's car door. "Shot gun!"
"So, this boyfriend of hers. You don't think he was involved in her disappearance?" Aemond questioned when they got to the diner. "Because Helan is a sweet girl, I dont know how the boyfriend is, she doesnt talk much, only in riddles really."
"Helan is in more trouble than you know, Aemond. Where is she? Don't make her deal with Otto without me." Davina begged.
"Or me! You love me." Hazel added. "What's it going to take for you to help us buddy?'
"Dont buddy him." Luke sassed.
" I can't talk in front of hazel. She's the Mayor's kid." Aemond whispered
"Hey! I'm on your side. And I'm a woman!" Hazel demanded.
"Hazel, I need to find this woman. And in order to do that, I need you to go home, okay? So please listen to me. Seriously. She's not going to tell me anything if you're around." Davina begged. "Luke I'm trusting you to get her home, please."
"Fine," Hazel grumbled grabbing lukes hand. "I will remember this act of betrayal Aemond," she called back.
"She left town. Said she was going to try Boston. Thought she could disappear there." Aemond answered.
"How long ago did she leave?" Davina questioned.
" About a half an hour."
"You are elbowing me in the ribs." Luke whined.
"SHH!" Hazel demanded.
"What the-" Davina turned around in the car to see the kids hiding in the backseat. "Luke I thought I liked you-"
"You do!" He declared. "Hazel is really tricky."
"What'd he tell you?" Hazel countered
"Hazel! What the hell? I'm going to Boston. You can't come with me."
" You can't go to Boston! She can't leave. Bad things happen to anyone who does." Hazel warned. "I told you before Davina!"
" I don't have time to argue with you over the curse. I've got to get you home."
"We have to stop her before she gets hurt! We're wasting time! If you drop me off, we'll never catch up to her." Hazel demanded. "You know I"m right!"
"I... damn it kid."
" And then Mr. Otto will call the police, and he'll have her sent to jail. She can't go to jail, she's innocent in all this!"
"...Buckle up." Davina agreed. "Helan, what did you get yourself into?" Davina murmured.
"I spy with my little eye-'
"No time for games." Davina countered.
"I just mean I see her car." Luke offered, they quickly turned off the road.
"I told you! It's her car." Hazel declared. "In a ditch too, she couldnt get past the boarder!"
"She's not in the car." Luke countered before hearing moans. Davina rushed to find Helan on the ground.
"My baby! It's coming!" Helen declared.
