The portal opened and out walked Steven and Eclipsa as they arrived in Beach City. Specifically, the Beach House/Temple where Steven lived. Going inside and surveying the area, it was as if the living room was frozen in time. Due to all the fighting happening outside, the interior had remained untouched. Bluebird nor her allies were able to get inside thanks to Steven dealing with them.
Still, being here again brought a sharp pain that ran right through the hybrid. Seeing all of these familiar things such as the portrait of him and the Gems, pictures of Lapis and Peridot as well as old pictures of him and Connie, all of it just brought back memories.
"So this is your home. I must say: It seems to be in decent condition despite what happened. But why are we here, dear?" Eclipsa asked as Steven sighed and opened the Temple door with his Gem, leading Eclipsa inside and showing her the vast amount of Gem artifacts the Crystal Gems had gathered over the years.
"Oh my goodness. So this is the source of that magical energy Meteora and Toffee were talking about. If Toffee ever found out about this...." Eclipsa began to say.
"I'll kill him. Toffee won't destroy all that I have left of my family. He'll die first before he gets the chance." Steven said in anger as Eclipsa hugged him.
"No. I cannot allow you to do that, Steven. If I recall, you already know what it's like to take a life. Toffee will not get his hands on these artifacts. You have my word." She said as Steven hugged her back before the two shared a kiss.
However, at the same time, an orb appeared from Eclipsa's wand, signaling that someone was trying to contact her.
"Eclipsa! Toffee is here! Star is fighting him as we speak but she needs help!" Heckapoo exclaimed as Steven looked at Eclipsa and nodded.
"Let's go. But I don't understand: Didn't you all say that Star defeated Toffee the first time? Why would she be having trouble with him now?" The hybrid asked.
"She did indeed defeat him, but it wasn't by herself. She had help from others. In all honesty, Star is no match for Toffee on her own. She doesn't have the knowledge or experience of other Mewnians that are older than her. But enough. We need to get back to Mewni right now. Come, Steven." Eclipsa said as she made a portal as the two of them went back to Mewni to deal with Toffee.

"I have to say, Star Butterfly.....I'm quite disappointed with your performance here. What happened to all of that power you displayed in our first meeting? Oh wait a moment.....that required you to have assistance, did it not? So that means....on your own....you're powerless to stop me." Toffee said as he had Star and Heckapoo on the ground. Even with the two of them working together, Toffee was far too strong.
"I suppose it's time to end this little game." Toffee said as he fired a blast of magical energy.....
*Flash*
Only for it to be deflected by Steven's shield as him and Eclipsa had arrived.
"You.....that shield deflects magic?!?" Toffee exclaimed as Steven went sent out a shockwave, slowing time down as he used his super speed to dash at Toffee and deliver a series of blows to him before wrapping him in a massive pink chain and taking to the air!!!
"What......in the world?!!" Toffee exclaimed as time went back to normal as Steven had formed a massive spike wall that was aimed right at Toffee!
"Whoa!!!! Go for it, Steven!" Heckapoo cheered.
"You can do it!!!" Star cheered as well as Steven launched the wall at Toffee, crushing him beneath it.
"That should do it......" Steven said. While that attack brought back bad memories for him, desperate times called for desperate measures.
"Hehehe.......hahahaha!" Toffee laughed maniacally as he got up, his body having holes in it as if he was living, breathing, swiss cheese. He was also missing an arm. But all of that was remedied in an instant as he fully regenerated!
"What are you?!?" Steven exclaimed in pure shock as Toffee laughed.
"You clearly have never heard of me or what I can do. But I must say: I'm impressed. You're quite powerful yourself. But as you can see, brute strength will never be enough to defeat me. That is a lesson Miss Butterfly learned the hard way." The villain said.
"I may have missed parts of you that needed to be destroyed but you won't be so lucky this time, Toffee!" Star snapped.
"Cute. But you weren't the Butterfly I was talking about. Do you know why? Because the one I'm talking about met a rather unfortunate end." Toffee said with a smirk as Eclipsa had finally had enough!

"I've heard enough of you, Toffee. You dare mock my daughter's death in front of me? Her mother? The Queen? You shall pay dearly for this. Star may not have defeated you thoroughly but I shall not leave any of you remaining!!!!" Eclipsa snapped as she was now in Butterfly Form and prepared to unleash an energy blast towards Toffee.
"No.....NO!!!!!" Toffee screamed as Eclipsa unleashed the blast and completely vaporized Toffee. Not a trace of him was left behind this time. He was truly gone for good.
"She did it! You did it, Eclipsa!!!!" Star cheered as Eclipsa reverted back to normal and laughed.
"Oh it was nothing, really." She said as Steven smiled and took her hand.
"Strong and beautiful." He said as Eclipsa blushed and kissed him.
"Tch. We're right here, ya know!" Heckapoo said while rolling her eyes.
