" a time limit ? Heh .... Ahahahaha !!! " the woman suddenly erupted in a fit of maniacal laughter , as black mist began to gather around her " you have as much time as you survive my domain , intruder ! "
" so there's no time limit ... " Yu said just as the mist began dispersing , revealing no presence of Kaede's shadow or Teddie's statue " okay ... let's do this ... "

Yu immediately left the room into the hallway of the mansion , he noticed that the mansion had somehow became vaster and more spacious after his confrontation with Kaede's shadow . The furniture had grown larger and the walls became farther apart , it was like the house had grown in size . Worse yet , he could see a greater abundance of black mist filling the hallways , he knew that this meant there will be more shadows in the mansion than before , and that meant some of them would try to call the strong shadow with the rifles . That was probably what Kaede's shadow meant by saying that Yu had as much time as he could survive . That was why he decided to rush through the black mist while fighting as few shadows as possible . He could feel them materializing around and behind him as he forced his way forward , but at the same time his mind was racing to try and think of where he could search for Chie and Yosuke .
" maybe ... maybe Chie's trapped in the mirror again " Yu thought to himself " it's wishful thinking since the shadows in there didn't seem to be able to call that freak shadow with the rifles , but I suppose it's a good place to start since I don't have a time limit "
It didn't take Yu too long to find a stainless mirror , and he quickly ran straight through it , passing into the dark corridors within the mirror in an instant . The dark corridor inside the mirror was dark and damp , even more than what he remembered . Shadows began to emerge from the darkness , shaped like slimes and crows . Yu quickly called Apsaras and defeated the shadows shaped like slimes , then used the katana to fend off the other shadows that attacked him . However , while he was trying to defeat the shadows , a shrill familiar scream reached his ears , there was no mistaking that it was Chie , and she was in danger . Yu quickly rushed to where she was , hoping he could save her in time .
However , he wasn't prepared for what he was about to witness ...
Before his eyes was a giant spider , easily twice as big as him , its yellow and sharp limbs moved quickly and erratically as it reacted to Yu's presence . Above it was web that covered the whole ceiling , and much to Yu's shock , had Chie ensnared in a cocoon of webbing . She seemed unconscious , but it was clear that she had been through a lot . And yet he knew that if he wanted to save her , he would have to fight the spider directly . Before his eyes , the back of the spider began to tear open , and from the gap emerged a woman with a hungry look in her eyes , she was eyeing Yu greedily while the lower part of her body , that being the spider , was sharpening its claws .
