Having finally found his cousin and reconciled with her, Yu could finally focus on finding his friends and saving Yukiko. While the two of them were trying to find their way out of the catacombs, Yu filled her in on what he knew about the world inside the TV, and with her being more willing to listen for once, this was easier done that expected. Yui was surprised and happy to hear that her idea of ignoring the powerful shadows and focusing on rescuing the victims was indeed the ideal way to go about their goal, but if her attempts were of any indication, it was that a confrontation with Yukiko's shadow might be inevitable, and Yu was especially worried about that because he could tell from last time that Yukiko had more than one shadow, and the two shadows he met were polar opposite of each other.
While the two of the, were discussing their situation, suddenly something round jumped from the corner and tackled Yu to the floor , startling Yui who immediately jumped back and prepared to summon her Persona. As it turned out, however, that round thing was Teddie, who had just managed to find the two of them here. He was hugging Yu while being all over him, with Yu on the floor completely helpless, the only thing he could do was beg Teddie to step aside before. When Teddie finally stood away from Yu and allowed him to stand up, he noticed Yui standing in the corner.
" you ! You're the creepy girl who attacked sensei ! What do you want ?! " Teddie said angrily, while stomping his foot on the floor, which only created a squeaking sound
" uh ... huh ....... I see........ " Yui looked at the round angry bear custom, then at her cousin who was still gasping for air even after Teddie stepped away from him, then back at Teddie who was still sneering at her, then one more at Yu who was wearily trying to regain his footing. She clapped her hands and took a deep breath, before admitting " Yu Narukami... this might be the first time in my life that I'm glad not to be in your shoes "
" enough clowning around... " Yu groaned as he stretched his back " we still need to find our friends ... "
" but sensei... what about this vile woman—?! " Teddie started, but he was immediately ambushed by Yui who pushed him off his feet and caused him to roll on the ground helplessly
" don't push it or I'll turn you into a volleyball!!! " Yui said angrily
" we agreed to open a clean slate between each other... " Yu replied, but he saw how Teddie was looking at him with perplexed eyes, while being upside down from being rolled too fast. He helped him back on his feet, before rephrasing his response, saying " we agreed to forgive each other and work together to save Yukiko "
" okay ! Then Teddie will help you sniff out Yukiko's location, leave it to me ! "
" sniff... out ... ?! " Yui blinked twice, then she yelled angrily at the two of them " what the hell do you mean ' sniff out ' ?!! "
" you know... " Yu drew closer and whispered to Yui " even I don't understand how logic works with him ... "
" I... I just ... " Yui clutched her forehead, then gave up and threw her hands in the air " you know what?! I don't care, I have enough in my head to keep me busy, let's just get moving already! "
