The early morning shades of sunlight filtered through the canopy, illuminating the grounds before them which were slowly growing more solid with the approaching winter season. Animals shrinking into hibernation as the only sounds were the woods preparing for sleep-

And the thundering quake in the ground as thirty horses stampeded right past without falter no matter what stood in their way.

Talon snorted suddenly as Riftan's grip on the reins jerked and he faltered with his steed briefly and Hebaron galloped beside him, brow furrowed as Riftan frowned but a strange shock passed through him, that made him flinch and clutch his chest. An ache. Deep in his heart, like pain and...terror. It made him flinch like lightning.

"Commander? What is it?"

Riftan frowned and gripped the reins properly as he shook his head sharply but something buried deep in his abdomen, settling in like...

"Nothing. Just a bad feeling I got." Riftan muttered but nudging Talon's side, he pushed ahead of his men, keeping an eye out for approaching danger but every danger passing through them never took away the sickening feeling in his chest.
