Harry's pov
"Louis! Give me the remote." Kat demanded.

"That's a shit movie. We're not watching it." Louis replied.

"But I want to watch it! So does Liam."

"Please don't bring me into this. I actually want to live." Liam chuckled as he walked into the kitchen where I was getting snacks for everyone. I had just finished putting the popcorn into two bowls.

"Kat and Louis really hit it off didn't they?" Liam joked, with make me chuckle.

Louis and Kat always fought, but they loved each other. They just wouldn't admit it.

Liam and Kat in the other hand were best friends. They always agreed on everything and liked the same things.

With Liam's help, we managed to get all the snacks into the living room and when we all agreed in a movie, Kat sat down on my lap, the popcorn bowl in her hands. We were too busy laughing at the movie to notice a familiar sleek black car pull up into the driveway.

The front door opened and in stepped one of our managers and a lady I didn't recognize.

"Hello boys? How were they EMAs?" He greeted us as he took of his sunglasses. The lady just stood at his side, quietly waiting for an order.

"Hey Kevin." Liam was the only one that replied.

"Well, Harry I see you have a friend." He motioned to Katrina.

"She's my girlfriend." I corrected him.

"Ah yes of course. I'm sorry." He apologized, but it definitely wasn't genuine. "Well now that's she part of the family there's a few things we need to go over. I brought our social media and communications expert."

I looked over at Kat who had a panicked and confused look on her face.

"Let's talk about it in the kitchen with more privacy." He walked away, leaving me in awe.

"What is this?" Kat spoke up just as confused as I was.

"Whenever we get girlfriends, serious ones, management wants to make sure you understand some things." Louis spoke up.

"Why didn't I know about this?" I asked.

"Well you've never had a serious girlfriend before." Liam shrugged. "Sofia got the same talk."

"So did Perrie."

"And Eleanor."

Just when I thought everything was fine, I had to be reminded that our lives were completely different. It felt like Kat was starting to slip through my fingers and as much as I wanted her to stay, there was nothing I could do, and this definitely was not helping. She was going to be on the other side of the planet in a few days and this wasn't going to make that any easier.

"Ok, let's just get this over with." I held out my hand to Kat and she took it before following me into the kitchen.

Katrina's pov
Kevin and the woman were sitting on stools by the countertop, a briefcase and papers spread out in front of them.

"So what's this all about?" Harry said, a slight edge to his voice as we stood in front of them in the other side.

"Nothing too bad, just some precautions." The woman finally spoke up. "Katrina, right?" She asked me. I just nodded, too nervous to speak.

"Well, now that your relationship with Harry has been made public there's a few things we need to go over."

"Like what?" Harry asked annoyed. I tightened the grip on his hand as a way to calm him down, but it didn't seem to work.

"Well, before we begin you need to know the band is a brand. It's an asset to our business and it has an image or reputation to keep up therefore anything you say or post about the boys has to be careful thought out." She replied. "We just want to make sure that even if you fight or break up, you won't say anything you'll regret."
She slid a paper and pen towards me.

Break up? My mind was racing trying to find the logic of all this, trying to figure out what was happening.

"Wait does she have to sign a contract?" Harry held his hand out to stop her.

"Yes she does. To protect the label and your image." Kevin nodded scooted the pen and paper closer towards me.

"Our relationship is not a business deal." Harry pushed the paper back.

"If she doesn't sign it she can't go to any public or private events." Kevin said.

"You can't do that." Harry raised his voice.

"Yes we can. It's not illegal. She just won't be invited and security will handle it."

I felt Harry tense up and I didn't know what to do to calm him down.

"If she signs it then the only restrictions are we have the passwords to all of her social media and there are certain things about the relationship you can't say, which we will go over." he continued.

Harry didn't reply and I just sat there trying to soak this all in.

"We'll leave you two to think about it. Just hand it back to me when you're ready." Kevin and the woman packed their stuff and left. I didn't move even when I heard the door close. I kept staring at the contract.

Shouldn't I be able to do or say anything I want concerning my relationship? What just happened?

"You don't have to sign it, you know." He finally spoke up, snapping me out of my freak out.

I didn't say anything. I didn't know what would happen if I did sign it. I didn't even know what would happen if I didn't.

"Let's go to my room." With my hand still in his he pulled me up and walked me to his bedroom. He closed the door behind me and I just stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. He was only standing a few feet away from me, but I felt like he was miles away. I could handle red carpets, I could handle the paparazzi, and I could handle the fans, but this was too much.
I needed to think. I needed to not be around him right now and just think this all over.

"I need to go home." I said quietly.

"I'm so sorry for eveyth-" he tried to apologize, but I didn't want to hear anything.

"Please. I just need to think." I put my hand up to stop him.

"Katrina, please don't lea-"

"I'm not going to leave you. I just need to think this over because I just got thrown into a world I don't understand and I can't keep pretending I'm ok with it. I just need to think. There's the paparazzi, reporters, social media, and now contracts? It's just too much in a short amount of time."

He nodded, taking in my answer.
"If you need anything please call or something. Don't just shut me out."

"I'm not shutting you out. When I'm ready I'll come back." I smiled at him. I couldn't stay away even if I tried.

"Ok." He nodded. He pulled me in for a hug, his familiar arms and scent made me want to stay, but I couldn't. I didn't want him to let go. I wished being wrapped up in his arms had the power to make everything ok, but they didn't. Honestly, I didn't know what would.

This makes me sad.
