Katrina's pov
"Aunt Karen?" I stepped into the kitchen, hoping to find her making lunch because I was starving and lazy, but she called out from the back."Back here!"
I stepped out into the back porch where she had a small shed.
"What are you doing back here?" I asked her, looking inside the small dusty shed filled with weird things only my aunt could own.
"I have some of your mother's things. Just thought you could take them back with you when you leave." She handed me a few magazines that were pretty old, some hair clips, and dresses.
My heart sunk. I was leaving in two weeks and I haven't told Harry yet.
We haven't slowed down much to talk about things. Everything has been happening so fast we never took the time. I guess it just felt like it was going to be like this forever. Just him and me against the world, but that wasn't the case. We both had completely different lives. It was time to be realistic and it broke my heart. I wasn't the organized, down to earth, uptight girl anymore. I was carefree and having fun, I didn't want that to stop. I had no choice though. Someone had to be an adult."Sweetie are you alright? You look a little down." My aunt sat down on a upside down bucket and pulled me a crate. I took seat next to her.
"I don't know how to tell Harry I'm leaving." I tried to keep my composure. I did not want to get emotional about this.
"You're going to have to. It's something inevitable dear." She replied as kindly as she could.
"I know, I just don't know what's going to happen when I do. I don't know what he wants." I shrugged.
"What do you want?"
What did I want? I had no idea and that made me panic.
"I have no idea." My eyes started to tear up.
"Figure that out then. I mean, you want to be with him afterwards right?" She asked.
"Of course, but is it possible? We have completely different lives. I don't know if it's realistic." I was breaking my own heart.
"Anything works if you try hard enough. There's planes for a reason, they're are weekends for a reason, there are late phone calls and cute texts. It is very realistic. You just have to put in the effort. It won't be easy and I think that's what scares you, but you both made it this far, why not go even farther?"
Despite my aunt being a complete nut job, she was very smart and I don't know what I would have done without her.
"So I guess I'll just talk to him and see how it goes." I shrugged.
"Good, that's a good place to start. Now, are you hungry? I know that's why you came looking for me."
The next day, I was in the recording studio with the boys, waiting for them to finish so I could talk to Harry.
"That's enough for today, lads." Liam started shutting things off.
"We'll meet up with you guys later. Kat and I are going I hang out for a bit." Harry grabbed my hand. I tired my best to make it stop shaking, unfortunately there was nothing I could do to stop the clamminess.
"See ya later." Zayn waved.
Louis scoffed. "Bye." He joked which made me laugh a little.
"Bye." Liam and Niall sang, waving at the same time. We walked out and Harry immediately turned to me.
"You look like you're about to die, what do you need to talk to me about?" He chuckled, his beautiful smile calming my nerves. I didn't answer right away, we just kept walking. We weren't going any where specific, especially because we were to wrapped up in the conversation to pay attention to where we were going.
"I'm leaving in two weeks." I turned to him to see his reaction.
"Yeah, I know." He relied, his tone sadder than usual.
"And you leave to promote the album the day after."
"Correct." He nodded.
"What are we going to do?"
"We still have time, let's just see what happens and in two weeks we'll talk about it." He replied.
"But-" I tried to argue but he cut me off.
"Don't think about it too much, babe. There's no hurry." He laughed.
"Two weeks isn't a very long." I argued back, a smile threatening to spread across my face.
"It's plenty of time if you just live in the moment. When the future comes we'll talk about it, but until then we have everything and nothing to do." He smiled, his dimples showing and his eyes glistening with mischief.
"Fine." I found myself giving in. He had a valid point.
"Great, now I'd like to take you up on the offer for bungee jumping off the Eiffel Tower."
"Actually, you know what? Maybe I should go back to America now." I started to walk the other way when Harry pulled my wrist and brought me back to him, the beautiful sound of his laughter filling the empty alleyway we were in. His large hands grabbed my waist and brought me up over his shoulder.
"Harry put me down!" I said in between laughs.
"You're not going anywhere if it's not with me." He replied, which made my heart flutter.
"Ok well then, where are you taking me?" I let my body go limp, not bothering to fight anymore. At least I was getting a ride.
"The place doesn't matter, it's what we're going to do when we get there." He replied, cheekily.
"Harry!" I whacked his arm which made him laugh loudly. I loved his laugh.
"I was taking about bungee jumping." He lied and even though was facing the back there was no doubt Harry had his famous smirk plastered on his face.
"You trust me though, right?" He asked, the familiarity of the question made me smile.
"Yeah, I trust you. Why?"
"You'll see."
Living in the moment with Harry Styles was something I had no way to prepared for and that just made it even better.
Still have no idea what I'm doing.
Please don't hesitate to comment or vote! I'd really appreciate it. Love you guys!
