Harry's pov
"Hello?" I answered nervously.

"Harry?" Kevin asked, his tone of voice not very happy.

"Yes, sir."

"You'd be glad to hear I signed the contract." He sounded anything but glad.

My jaw dropped.

"Umm, thank you. You have no idea how glad I am to hear that." I looked at Kat who has a confused look in her face.

"What?" She whispered to me and she jumped up and down impatiently.

"Harry, I'm not happy about it, but we had to compromise." Kevin spoke again.

"I understand."

"Have a good night, Harry."

"You too, sir." I replied before hanging up.

"WHAT DID HE SAY?" Katrina cupped my face and made me look down at her. Her hands were shaking and her eyes were filled with unshed tears. I couldn't help but smile knowing the news I was about to give her.

"They signed it."

Her eyes went wide, releasing tears.

"What? Are you joking? Please tell me your not joking." She smiled.

"I'm not joking. I'm being completely serious. They signed it." I wrapped my arms around her and picked her up spinning her.

"Harry!" She squealed before giggling.
I put her down, but I didn't let go.

"We're free." I smiled down at her tear stained face. "We should celebrate!" I grabbed her hand and started walking.

"Wait, what are we going to do on a Monday night?" She asked hesitantly.

"The cheesiest thing a couple could do in Paris."

Katrina's pov
"Why are we at a hardware store?"

"We need some supplies." Harry said, leading down the aisles looking for something.

"You know we're at a hardware store in the middle of the night. This seems highly suspicious."

Harry stopped and turned to me.

"You have a dark mind. We're not murdering anyone." Harry scoffed even though I could see him repressing a smile.

"So I've been told." I shrugged. "And again, it's just very suspicious."

"Here we are."

He put something in the basket and led me to the cash registers to check out our stuff.

As he put everything on the conversation belt it hit me.

"No." I realized.

"What?" Harry smile at me innocently.

"Oh no. We aren't doing this." I shook my head at the ridiculous idea.

"Katrina." He whined. I rolled my eyes playfully as he quickly paid for the lock and sharpie.

"Thank you, sir. Have a good night." He  said to the cashier before grabbing the plastic bag containing the things.

"I can't believe we're doing this." I shook my head as we walked. Harry had one hand holding me and the other around the bag. He had a big smile on his face. I found it adorable that he was excited for this and it was the only reason why I decided to go along with it.

"I've always wanted to do this." He admitted. Embarrassed, he looked down at his feet.

"Really?" I smiled at him.

"Yeah, I just never found the right girl to do it with." He shrugged.

"Well, I'm honored then." I kissed his cheek, making him look at me.

"You think this is cheesy." He chuckled.

"I think it's very cheesy, but if it's important to you then I'll do it."

"That's why I love you." He looked at me, his cheeks flushed red.

"Who knew Harry Styles was such a cheese ball?" I chuckled, nudging him.

"Stop making fun of me." He whined, burying his face in my neck.

The streetlights were the only thing providing light since it was so late. Most of the businesses had closed for the night, the exception being a few bars. The moon was full though, also providing light so I wasn't to worried. If anything it seemed perfect. The streets were mostly lonely and empty. It's almost like we had the whole city to ourselves. Notre Dame seemed dark and scary, especially because of its Gothic architecture. We walked around it to the river. From there we could see the bridge, the reflection of all the locks making it hard to miss. It was empty, only holding the promises couples made.

I suddenly became nervous. Who knew how many of those promises were kept and how many loves didn't last as long as they hoped. What would happen to us?

We approached the bridge slowly, taking it in. Harry let go of me.

"We have to find a spot for the lock. It needs to be on the actual bridge or it won't count. We can't attach it to another lock."

"Got it." I nodded and began searching.
I searched through every nook and cranny but found nothing. It was beautiful knowing so many couples were so in love and committed, but at the same time, they could have used smaller locks to give us some room, like damn.

"Found a spot!" Harry called me over. I turned and found him squatting down at the corner of the bridge. I walked over and got down to his level.

"So we need to write our names on the lock." Harry explained to me as he did so. In his handwriting our names looked beautiful next to each other like that. Almost, like they were always meant together.

Harry was starting to rub off on me. His cheesiness brought out mine.

"Would you like to do the honors?" Harry handed me the lock and pointed at the spot in the bridge to connect it to. I clicked it on and then stood up, admiring it.

"Now we throw the key into the river." Harry held the key between his fingers.

"You can do that." I wrapped my arms around his waist and looked up at him. We got closer to the edge and Harry let the let fall through his fingers, the keys made a plop sound as it hit the dark water and disappeared under the small waves.

I would be lying if I said nothing changed. Something did feel different, not that it was really noticeable but nonetheless I still felt it. I didn't know how to describe it, but it was a good feeling, a good type of change. It was almost as if it was true, that putting the lock on the bridge and throwing the key into the river which symbolized our love pulled us a little bit closer than we were before. Made us fall a little more deeper in love than we already had.

"I love you." I whispered as I turned to look at him. His eyes were still on the water. He didn't respond right away, but after a few seconds he looked at me.

"I love you too." He replied kissing me.
It seemed like the city of love was doing it part. It brought us together at the bar, made Harry's management sign the contract, and now we even had a lock on a bridge representing our love and commitment. I just didn't know what would happen once we left.

Sorry this took a little longer than usual. I had writers block. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this! Please comment or vote is really appreciate it!
