YOUR POV:
A bleak bleariness met your eyes. A dull white ceiling stared back at you. Sitting up, you looked around. All you saw was bland white. Bland white wall, bland white door, bland white gurney, bland white sheets/blankets (Your choice). Other then bland white, a simple yet shining silver equipment gathered around your gurney. Each a mass of glowing pulses. Then your vision cleared. So did your mind. You were at the hospital. But why? And how? Then last nights events flooded back to you...
You gasped in pain and fell backwards, your head landing with a THUMP back onto your pillow. Uncontrollable blobs of tears began to fall as you began to remember your parents were dead. So was/were your sibling(s). (Insert amount) precious lives brushed away like dust. Sobbing uncontrollably, you fell asleep again an a little ball at the end of the gurney.
When you woke up, nothing was different except this time there was a rather chubby woman meandering around the room. Peering at you, she said: "Ah, your awake! Do have some dinner, you've been out like a light for 3 days!" 3 days? You thought in shock. How is that possible...? Your confusion was blotted out quickly as your stomach growled. You just realized how hungry you are. Wolfing down the chalk flavored alphabet soup, you were full of sad memories of when you made a word competition with your parents... So long ago... Or at least it seemed. Really, it was just a week, but knowing they were gone made everything seem so distant, knowing it would never happen again.
The next morning, a man with a black suit and a attache case came and visited you. He said: "I am so sorry, Y/N. Your parents are dead." He looked at your face for even hints of confusion, misery, anything. Steeling yourself, you kept your poker face.

Sighing, the man said: "Since there is no legal parent for you, I am afraid you have to go to an orpanag-" "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!" You screamed before he even finished his sentence. You heard about orphanages, and you were NOT going to one! Never! Ever! No no no no no no! You grabbed the blank black suitcase that had Y/N written upon the top. Your suitcase from the house. Lifting it, you felt all of your possessions (Apart form your bed and stuff, of course!) in there, as you had tried before when you were a year younger. Nabbing it, you sped out the door and ran down the winding hospital corridors. Alarms rang. You found the exit and burst into daylight. Looking all directions, you saw the only choice was the woods. Taking a deep breath, you sped in.
You never looked back.
