In the very beginning there was one. This one was known only as Primal. Then Primal was joined by two more, Alpha and Beta. Together the 3 Created all the known worlds, universes, and life as we know it.
The day came when the 3 were ready to create...
It had been decided. It was now time for us to create our replacements. We had lived for so long. Primal was the first. Then came Alpha and Beta the twins. Together we created everything the universes, worlds, life, death, gods, humans, everything. Now it was time for our rest, but there must always be 3. Primal would create their replacement first. Alpha and Beta would guide the child through the first portion of their existence. When they felt the time was right then Alpha would go, followed by Beta.
This was how the three beings found themselves in this realm, at this stage of existence. Primal focused everything they were into creating what they thought their replacement should be. With that final push of their own being and magic a child was created. A hybrid child that would rule existence one day with the new Alpha and Beta. Alpha held the female child as they both said goodbye to Primal. Primal kissed the child's forehead and then ceased to exist.
Alpha and Beta made their way to the meadow next to the small village. With their powers they summoned the 3 that were chosen to be her guardians. Soon Ayana, the witch from the powerful Bennett line stepped into the clearing. She was chosen to start to teach her magic and care for her as a mother. She reached them feeling their power and knowing the child held would be her people's Queen, so she knelt. Then came Ansel, the chief of the werewolf village. He was chosen to help teach her shifting and being an animal. He reached Ayana's side and he knew his knew Alpha, his new Queen was held by the one being so he knelt. Last came Mikael, a strong Viking warrior. He had been chosen for a dual purpose. He would teach her to hunt and fight, but also to love her as a daughter. He reached the other two and he saw the child held. He even without powers himself, felt the truth of the three beings before him so he knelt.
Alpha and Beta explained who the child was and who she would one day be. They explained while she was mortal and grew it was up to the three of them to protect and teach her. To love and guide her. That her life was in their hands. They had to teach her balance. The child was placed in Mikael's arms, even though she would live with Ayana. The two beings knew he needed to hold her first to connect that bond between the two. Mikael looked to the child and asked, "Her name?" Alpha and Beta whispered as one, "She is Selene Danu of the Galaxy. She is in the care of you three now. We will be watching."

Then Alpha and Beta left the sight of the 3 returning to their realm.
