Selene's POV:

After the Marauders graduation I made my announcement.
"It has brought me great joy over the years watching my school flourish. It has even brought me great joy being it's headmistress. But now it is time to pass that joy to another. This graduating class has been the last I will oversee. Starting at the new term for the first time ever Hogwarts will be switching to a joint headmaster and headmistress. May I present to you next years leaders Headmaster Tom Mikaelson and Headmistress Minerva Mikaelson. Together I have great faith that they will lead Hogwarts into a new era of educational greatness. I will as always return at the beginning of each year for the sorting, but from now on your new history teacher and head of House Hallow Hecate will be the newly hired Professor Petunia Evans."
Everyone cheered.
I smiled and left the hall. I stood near the Black lake. I had chosen to give the future to my children and their two mates, and to the young girl whose magic I healed and then proved to the world she was indeed a great and kind witch with her work with younger students guiding them. I was not leaving the realm yet my magic told me it wasn't time. I smiled feeling the breeze and closed my eyes. I soon felt another's presence. I stayed as is for a few moments. When they did not speak or anything without opening my eyes I asked, "Are you going to stare at me all day?"
I heard a bark of laughter and knew who it was. I opened my eyes as Sirius came closer grinning. I arched a brow.
"How can I help you Mr. Black?"
"Well I just thought that perhaps... I mean since I am no longer a student and you're no longer headmistress...what I am trying to ask is. Would you do the honor of going on a date with me?"
I blinked and tipped my head to the side watching. "You want me to go on a date with you?"
He nodded, "Yes."
"Why?"
He smiled shyly and looked to me, "I have always felt something towards you. A draw since the first time I met you officially in your office. My magic sings and pulls me towards you. It does not react to others that way. Besides that you are an intelligent loving and very beautiful woman. I want to get to know you. I want to try to see if this pull means something."
"And my husbands? You understand that if this goes further then a date, it has to be aimed towards one end. Marriage and a chosen mate bond as I do not do lovers. I won't betray my husbands and bonds."
"I would be honored if that was where this went."
I searched his eyes then asked, "What do you think Finn? Is he sincere?"
Finn smirked as he came from the tree he had been leaning against. Sirius was surprised he had not noticed him. Finn stood at my side and studied Sirius' face as he stood proud and unflinching in his resolve.
"Yes I think he is. Perhaps love you should give him a chance. If he proves false Demetri, Oberyn and I will handle it." The implied threat was there and Sirius nodded to Finn in agreement.
"Fine one date at the end of summer. I have weddings to attend this Summer first and my attention is needed in London with my family at the Ministry. If by September 1 you still wish that date, and I do not see you with a string of others your seriousness in this matter will have been Proven to me and I will go on a date with you on the 2 of September. Yes?"
The smile that lit his face was amazing.
"I agree." He then kissed my cheek and ran off cheering.
I shook my head with a chuckle and looked to Finn who cupped my other cheek. "I think like Demetri you will be able to trust him with your heart my love."
I smiled and hugged Finn, "Yet you are the only one I truly trust it and my soul too. I love Oberyn and Demetri. They too are my chosen and trusted. I never doubt them. Yet it is you who have stayed by my side since I was 15. It is you who are my anchor, balance and truest friend. It is you I trust above all others."
