In the very beginning there was one. This one was known only as Primal. Then Primal was joined by two more, Alpha and Beta. Together the 3 Created all the known worlds, universes, and life as we know it.

I was setting in my library when Demetri and Finn came in with my phone. "It's for you love, one of the Quileute." Said Finn as Demetri handed me the phone. I took it and said , "This is Selene." "Hello this is Billy Black Ephraim's son and the new chief of the tribe. My father said to call and contact you if the Cullens ever returned to Forks." I had long ago given Ephraim a special book that kept my contact info up to date as the ages passed. A smirk grew on my face that had my no 3 husbands as Oberyn joined us looking at me with a grin. "They have? Well then, keep my information handy. How many wolves do you have currently?" "None and that is our problem. The next generation has not shifted yet and it makes the tribal council uneasy." I thought for a moment then smirked. "I will be there tomorrow with help for you. While I can not remain they will. Is that acceptable to you?" He sighed in relief, "Yes thank you my lady." "Have your council gathered by 5 and we will appear then."
As we disconnected I summoned my children. "Tristan, Tala, Alexander and Julian. I need you to pack your things. I will be taking you four to La Push and Forks Washington tomorrow. The Quileute needs someone to watch their lands until their new generation of wolves shift. Tristan and Tala you will enroll in Forks high and attend the school to keep an eye on the Cullen children. Alexander and Julian you will remain with the tribe. You will patrol their lands and train the new shifters as they come. The Cullens never stay in an area long. You will remain until they leave or I have to destroy them. You will also go by the last name Danu. Understood my lives?" "Yes mother." They all said and left to pack. Matteo and Marco pouted. "Why could we not go?" Asked Matteo. "Because Carlisle knows you six and never met Tristan and Tala and was gone before the twins were born. I rather he be taken by surprise. Hence the reason they will go by Danu instead of Mikaelson." My family just smirked they loved it when I planned things.

The next day I shadow traveled to Billy Black's house with my four children. The council went to stand I waved them to remain sitting seeing Old Quil. "Remain seated gentlemen you are fine. These are my children. Tristan, Tala, Alexander and Julian. Tristan and Tala will enroll in Forks High School to keep a closer eye on the Cullen children. Alexander and Julian will patrol your land and set up wards. If you have one who could tomorrow show them the boundary line to make that easier then that would be appreciated. I have land between La Push and Forks that has a house for them to live in. As your new wolves shift Alexander and Julian will train them and aid them while the Cullens remain. They will inform me of everything that goes on. If things need handling I will return and deal with them personally. Does this help you my friends?" "It does thank you my lady. We feel better knowing our land and people are protected by your family." We left and I showed my children their house.

" Do you like it?" I asked. Tristan smirked and said, "I mean it's not the castle but I guess it will have to do." The others laughed as I smacked him upside the head. He chuckled trying to duck away. "It is fine mother. We will be fine. You raised us for this. We know what to do." I kissed them each and then went to the school. I saw to the registration of the two before going home to Italy. That night I sighed sitting next to the window. Finn came and placed his hands on my shoulder and kissed the top of my head. "Selene they will be fine. Each of our children have been trained by the best, you. They will call if there are any problems." I smiled holding his hand on my shoulder and nodded, "I know it is just other then Valyria and Henrik, the children never stray far for long. Even when Obara went with Kol she came back every year and this is the first time Alexander and Julian have been away from me. I can not help but worry." "It's because you are a good mother, who loves her children my love. Now stop worrying and come to bed. We miss your warmth this night already." I smiled and went to join the 3 of them.

The next week all seemed calm. When the children called to check in there was only one problem. Tristan and Tala found their mates, in Jasper Hale and Alice Cullen. I told them when they tell my children who they thought were human the truth to call upon me. I would have them bring them to their house. There I would protect their minds from Carlisle's mind reader and we would explain the truth to them, but I wanted them to prove their devotion by being honest to my children first. They agreed. We were lucky in that none of the gifts of the vampires in this world ever worked on us, and since changing Demetri, Felix, and Jane and Alec they didn't work on them either. It annoyed Aro no end. They told me that Edward despised them simply because he could not read their minds and because now he was the only one without a mate. All I could think was such a spoiled child.
When I told Finn and Oberyn they were happy for our children to find their mates.
2004 A.D.
It took a year before Jasper and Alice told them the truth. They feared they were going to be rejected. Tristan and Tala told them they would never but that they wished to speak to them in their home this weekend if the two would come over. Jasper and Alice agreed immediately. Two days later I was in their home. I sat in my chair in the living room. Alexander and Julian on either side of me. Soon Tristan and Tala brought Jasper and Alice in. While the two froze I smirked. My two children bowed to me then Tristan spoke. "We had to do this here so as to protect your minds after from Edward. Jasper, Alice please meet our mother Selene Mikaelson." Tristan explained. We spent the rest of the day explaining everything to them. Then at the end of the day I offered to change then and bite them then I would give them a ring that would hide the change from the rest of the Cullens. My only requirement was they move in with my children. They excepted gladly. So I did so changing and siring them to me. I welcomed them to the family.

I gave them the rings that would hide their secret. I told them if Edward asked why he could not read their minds the twins were allowed to say they were witches and they protected their minds for them. That the rings were created by their mother, a powerful witch, it allowed them to blend in with the humans better. They could eat and drink even sleep thanks to the ring. This would explain why they did such. The rings were spelled not to come off unless I took them off or they were out of this realm. They all thanked me and I kissed my family before returning home.
