🌒Chapter 18: Is He Stupid?🌘

Selene's POV:

My children had been keeping me up to date. Jasper and Alice were now allowed in La Push, as I had made them one of mine and they were no longer Cold Ones. I made sure the tribe, knew before I left that I had changed them. I had visited them again for Christmas. Jasper and Alice nervously asked two things of me. First they wanted to purpose to my children but wanted my approval. I was glad they had the manners to ask. I gave them my blessing. Then they asked if I would meet with Rosalie and Emmett. They wanted to let them know the truth and they thought I might like them enough to perhaps change them as well so Rosalie could have her chance at the family she lost out on but still always wanted. I granted their request. They brought them over so I could meet and judge them. I didn't need to both were meant to be my soul children like Jane and Alec. I changed and bit them and gave them rings like Jasper and Alice's that did the same thing, hid the true change but let them explain the changes. Rosalie cried when she learned she could now have children. I advised her to wait till we left this realm. That way she would not be at risk of others trying to use her to get to me. She agreed. Their last name would be Mikaelson once we left. They would also move in here with my children to protect the full secret. I told the tribe about them as well and now they too were allowed on tribal land.

There had still been no wolves to shift yet and the Elders were concerned. I told them to gather their high schoolers for an assembly. As they proceeded with it I would observe and use my magic to see who would shift or who has the gene to at least. I would then give them a list of those closest to the shift. They thanked me.

So the day came I donated 500,000 to the school to give them a reason. They were explaining to the kids they would be getting a new library, new computers, new gym and all the classrooms would be upgraded do to an anonymous donor's generosity. As they spoke my magic flowed through the room and I smiled as I felt the ones closet to the gene that would shift first. I nodded to Billy and then left to await him at his house. He, Harry and Old Quill arrived soon after. I handed them the list.
"These are the ones closest to shifting. It will happen in the next year, two at the most."
They took it and looked it over.

They looked shocked. They did not think Embry had the blood. It meant someone had a brother. The biggest though was Leah. They had never had a female shifter. I chuckled and told them that is a shame my magic felt something very special about the girl. Harry looked proud. I left them with a word of advice. Tell them soon start preparing the group on the list. It will limit the trauma and it will strengthen the pack when formed.

January 18:
My son, Tristan,  called me annoyed. Apparently Edward has a blood singer that just started school. He acted a fool in biology with her and now he has left to get his thirst under control so he can be with his mate as he insists she is. I asked, "Is he stupid or just mentally challenged? Has perhaps Emmett roughed him up one too many times or did his mother repeatedly drop him on his head?"
My children could not answer as they were all laughing to hard. Alice finally calmed down enough to ask if it was possible to be both Blood Singer and Mate. I told her I would check but I seriously doubted it as the two things contradict what you would have for each.

After I hung up I went to the Throne room. Aro was still pouting. I had decreed we would use blood bags and only feed off live human tours once a month. He hated it.
"Oh stop pouting Aro. This will keep suspicion down you fool. Now a question for you three. Is it possible for a human to be both blood singer and mate to a cold one?"
Aro scowled, "What fool believes that?"
Caius snorted and just said, "No."
Marcus said, "No you always wish to kill a blood singer but a mates blood does not appeals to you. It is a safety measure to protect them."
I smirked gearing them then looked to Aro who sighed already knowing he didn't want to know. Caius and Marcus smirked at one another.
"Carlisle Cullen's perfect son believes his blood singer to be his mate. He left to get his thirst under control after almost wanting to attack and feed on her in his class."
Aro's head just dropped and we all heard him cussing under his breath. I grinned and left to find my husbands.
