🌒Chapter 25: Marauders🌘

1971 A.D.
Hogwarts
Realm 4
Selene's POV:

"Please Selene! Please let me!" Begged Seth.
I stopped and frowned at him.
"Why on Earth do you want to be at the school so badly this year?"
"Well..I.. You ..I mean"
"Seth out with it already."
"Okay so the Marauders start this year. I just want to watch it all."
Finn and Demetri chuckled from across the room Leah groaned.
"Fine as long as you don't cause trouble you may come and be my assistant through the year." I said with a sigh.
He hugged and kissed my cheek then ran out cheering.
"You spoil him." Said Leah from the couch.
My head dropped. "It's those damn puppy eyes of his." I muttered. She laughed. Demetri grinned.
"So if I give you puppy eyes my love does that mean.." Began Demetri.
"Not a chance. He is the only one that seems to make those eyes work. Sorry beloved I am still not giving in." I walked out as Finn and Leah laughed.

July 1:

I went to visit one of my incoming muggle born students. I made it a habit of visiting each of them to make sure they were comfortable with magical life. As I spoke to her family I saw her sister looking unhappily at what was going on.
I paused the conversation and said, "What is your name dear girl?"
She seemed startled I was paying attention to her.
"Petunia. Is it true she has magic and gets to go to a special school?"
I nodded, "It is."
"Can I come too?" You could see the hope in her eyes as she asked. I studied her and then held my hand out.
"Come child let me look at you."
She hurried over and put her hand in mine. I sent my magic searching. She gasped at the warm feeling. I found her core. It seems something damaged it. She was meant to be a witch like her sister. I pushed more magic and began to heal her core, bringing it back to life. When I was done she was positively beaming with joy at the feeling. I waved my hand and handed her a Hogwarts Letter.
"If your parents approve, welcome to magic and Hogwarts Petunia."
Lily jumped for joy and hugged her sister so happy to share this with her. She turned and looked to her parents. They both looked proud at her and nodded. They had two young witches in the family. The girls hurried off talking.
"Is she really a witch?" Asked her mother.
"Yes something damaged her core at a very young age it seems, but I healed it. She well be a very talented witch. If you have more questions don't hesitate to reach out."
"I have one more. How is it you saw it but the others that visited did not?" Her father asked.
I chuckled as I stood, "Because i am considered Lady Magic herself." I then disappeared leaving them shocked.

September 1:

At the Sorting Ceremony I had to stick Seth to his chair he just would not sit still.  I glared at him and he smiled sheepishly then settled down. Finn chuckled from beside me and took my hand. I was reconsidering sending for that squirt bottle Leah had. The sorting went as it was supposed to and had before. The only change was Petunia and Snape. They proudly took their place at Hallow Hecate house.
Once the sorting was done I stood.
"Welcome Children to another year at Hogwarts. For those of you new to the school I am Headmistress Selene Mikaelson. I am also Head of house Hallow Hecate and your history Professor. I have many other titles but in this school only those I stated matter. Now tomorrow is health check day. We start with the first years and work our way up. This is mandatory and does not hurt. The day after will be your first day of classes. Now I hope you all enjoy your time here at Hogwarts. Let the feast begin."

September 2:
I was in my office going over papers when there was a knock.
"Enter."
Finn and Poppy entered. I smiled then it dropped seeing the looks on their faces. I knew they should have just finished the first year exams.
"How bad?" I asked with a sigh.
"Only two love." Finn said as Poppy handed me the sheet. As I looked it over my magic flared and my windows cracked. Hogwarts fixed them quickly.
I stood angered.
"I will handle this."
They nodded as I left.

First I went to the Prince family. When the patriarch saw me he frowned but bowed.
"My lady how may I help you?"
"Your grandson and I assume only heir is being abused by his good for nothing father."
He blanched at my words.
"I had feared this would happen when his mother ran off to marry the man."
"I suggest Lord Prince you go obliviate the fool and reclaim your daughter and grandson to your household. If I do not hear by this evening that the situation has been handled I will take action. Against all of you."
"Of course my lady. I will handle this immediately."
I nodded and left to London.

As I appeared in the middle of House Black's living room I heard screeching. Kreacher appeared before me when he felt my magic. The little elf had always adored me.
"Mistress how can Kreacher serve you today?"
"Get your Master and Mistress my dear elf."
He bowed and left to do so. Almost immediately Orion and Walburga were before me. Orion knelt and Walburga rolled her eyes even as she did so.
"My lady, welcome to the House of Black how can I help you?"
"By explaining this to me Orion Black." I handed him Sirius' paper with the list of abuse he had suffered.
He frowned taking the paper as he read he too got angry.
"How is this possible?!" He looked to his wife who looked bored. "Did you know of this?"
"Of what?"
He thrust the paper at her she read over it bored still then looked at him and shrugged, "He needed to be taught lessons."
That did it her attitude right there. I gripped her throat and brought her to me.
"You dare lay hands on one of my allied families' children and defend it with he needed to be taught lessons! You know it is against the law to abuse magical children. How dare you break that law, your child's trust and betray my bond!" I tossed her back and looked to Orion.
He glared at Walburga then stated firmly, "I, Orion Black, head of family for House Black and it's Lord do hereby divorce Walburga Black, furthermore I disown her from the Black Family. As I will it so mote it be."
I nodded even as she shrieked. Then added on.
"I Selene Mikaelson do hereby find you Walburga Black unworthy of the gift of magic and strip you of it from this day forth." She screeched even more.
Orion summoned the Aurors and gave them the papers. She was removed from the house and was to be taken to Azkaban.
Orion looked to me ashamed. "I am sorry my lady."
"Do not apologize to me do so to your son when you see him next."
"Yes my lady."

I then returned to Hogwarts. There was an owl waiting for me. Lord Prince had done as commanded. His daughter was returned to his family and the husband dealt with.
I summoned both boys to my office. I explained what had happened. The relief was their on both their faces. Sirius looked to Severus and offered his hand to him in mutual understanding and friendship. Severus accepted it.

Over the rest of the year Severus joined the Marauders in friendship. As did Lily and Petunia. There was no rivalry just friendship and of course a few cases of love it seemed even at this age. James loved Lily, and Severus loved Petunia instead of Lily. Finn teased me that Sirius looked at me with loving puppy dog eyes as well. I told him not to be silly not realizing it was true.
