🌒Chapter 34: And So It Begins🌘

2009 A.D.
Mystic Falls
Realm 1
Selene's POV:

September:

On the first day of school the kids came to the Hallow and all came upstairs. Elena was still angry that she wasn't permitted up there and usually acted like the second floor didn't exist.
They all told us about the absolute hissy fit Elena apparently through at school, when her "friends" wanted nothing to do with her. Jeremy even told me that she tried accusing him of taking drugs. He said he had to put her in her place and make sure she knew that not only would I not allow such a thing he isn't crazy enough to risk what he has worked for, for a freaking high. She stormed off saying she was done giving him chances. Poor Jeremy was so confused after. 
It was bad enough that just a month after Jenna took guardianship she had to emancipate Elena and then she and Marco moved back in with us. Apparently Elena would not leave Marco alone that week he stayed with Jenna. He left because he could not be around her with her constantly trying to walk into his and Jenna's room and bathroom. Glances and touches. It did not matter she was asked to stop. Though she should have had to learn the hard way about being an adult. When her power was shut off after she didn't pay the bill.  No food because she didn't go shopping. Instead John came to town early and moved in with his precious girl taking care of her.

Man was he shocked when he found out the new way the town was run.
He even tried to take back control, but he was out voted. In fact he was the only one that voted to return to the old way. You see since my coming and taking control there has not been a single vampire attack. They are too afraid to piss me off.

The second day after school instead of the kids throwing the back to school party in the woods they had it at the Hallow. There were no attacks and everyone was provided a ride home. Even if we didn't serve the alcohol I knew they would find a way. So I made sure they at least made it home.

On September 9th I had a meeting at the school with that Jackass Tanner.
He dared accuse not only Jeremy but all my kids of drug use and then threatened to fail them all unless I slept with him. I had recorded the whole conversation. I then had Fenrir bring the principle in. I played it and he was fired on the spot. Fenrir took over only as the football coach. I took over as history teacher until they could find a new hire. Tanner it seems went missing that night.... I mean I don't know what could have happened to him it's not like I went home and played the recording for my four husbands and father figure or anything. 😈

September 10:

The Night of the Comet.
As a family we all enjoyed the viewing from the roof of the Hallow watching as it flew over the town. As magicals we enjoyed the energy boost it seemed to send through us all. Though there did seem to be a new Vampire had entered town, she tripped the new wards I had placed just for that purpose.
When they did not present themselves the next day to me I sent out my hunting party. Soon Mikael, Enzo and Fenrir returned with Annabelle Zhu.

My husbands stood behind me in the boarding house living room as I sat watching her get escorted in. The kids were all at school. Leah was at the Hallow and Sheila was at Hecate's.
"Why was I brought here?" She demanded.
"Well I see not everyone has learned. I guess you don't remember me Annabelle."
That was when she realized who had her brought in.
"I..I .. I'm sorry I didn't know you had returned to Mystic Falls. I thought you still were in New Orleans."
"Fine I forgive you .... Once. Now why are you here?"
She moved forward and knelt. She knew me from before in Mystic Falls but she also knew my ways from a few visits to New Orleans.
"I want to open the tomb under old Fells church. My mother has been trapped in their since 1864. I must confess I am surprised Damon hasn't tried to get into it to get Katherine."
All my husbands groaned hearing that name. I glared at her and then turned my glare to Damon.
"Is this something you want? Katherine from the tomb?" Her name dripping venom.
"Hell no! I hope she is a pile of dust by now. I have been content to know the whore is rotting away. She took my family from me. I would rather she spend an eternity in pain."
I nodded hearing the truth in his words. I then looked back to Anna.
"How did you plan to open it?"
"Emily Bennett sealed it so I was going to have a Bennett witch open it."
"No. The Bennett's no longer aid any supernatural but me. Those that do loose their magic. Twice they have betrayed me starting with that fool Emily Bennett. No if you want that tomb open and your mother returned you bargain with me. What do you offer?"
"My service."
I arched a brow waiting for her to continue.
"I will pledge my loyalty to you and serve you in whichever way you see fit."
"Careful with how you word things little vampire. There are those who would take advantage of such wording."
She paled hearing me and knew my meaning as she nodded.
"I accept. I will bite you and you will serve my family. For now you will assist Leah at the Hallow. If she needs you to waitress you will do so, bus tables, clean you will do what she needs. When I leave this Realm you will aid those I leave in charge here in Mystic Falls. Am I understood?"
"Yes my lady."
"Good. I will open it tonight. Meet us there."
"Yes my lady."
She left quickly.
"Damon."
"Yes kitten?"
"When I open the tomb you will see if that whore is in there and if she is you will bring her to me."
"As you wish." He smirked thinking of the ways I would torture her.

That night the family was gathered. Anna showed and was ready. I tossed her a blood bag.
"For your mother. You get her and then when she is whole in the morning bring her to me."
"Yes my lady."
I then waved my hand clearing the path to the door. I then broke the seal and opened it. Anna raced in and found her mother quickly. Damon kinda strolled in not in a big hurry. Finn stood beside me as always. He knew my anger at her was great. Anna came out with her mother and I nodded to her. They quickly left. Damon came out scowling and pouting.
"She isn't in there."
"Pity." I said before I sent fire inside and destroyed every vampire in there. Leaving nothing but ash. I then shut the door and we returned home.

The next morning as requested Anna brought Pearl. When Pearl saw her daughter kneel she was smart enough to follow.
"Welcome back Pearl. Anna is indebted and works for me now. What do you plan to do now that you are free?"
"I would like to reopen my shop and create our home here once more if you will allow." She said straight to the point.
I nodded, "Granted you may have the building next to my stores. You and your daughter will remain here until we can find you a home of your own. I will found your business and you will give me 25 % profit. The rest you keep. You will also be expected to join the council as the Zhu founder. Merak will show you your rooms. You will also both accept my bite."
They agreed and stepped forward. I bit them and they were now sired to me.
Things were moving along just right.
Merak moved forward.
"This way Ladies."
