Dallys been stressed and has been yelling at everyone the first person he yelled at last week was the most important person to him johnny cade

Johnny wasn't trying to make dallas annoyed he was just laying in bed hurting since his father beat him black and blue dally went downstairs to get a drink but came back mad as hell he was throwing stuff johnny tried to calm him down but dallas just snapped and targeted him towards his anger

He didn't hit johnny or hurt him physically but johnny bawled like a baby when dally insulted him many times johnny put his shoes on and left without his coat he ran to the lot and stayed there for a couple days not even visiting ponyboy only sneaking back into his house for food and immediately leaving

Dallas later on regreted it but he didnt make up with johnny its just made him in a worser mood staying in the little room Buck lets him use

But one night it started pouring lightning stricking johnny woke up drenched in the lot He considers just staying there but he hears something move further behind him he immediately stays as still as possible he hears it quietly laughing his stomach drops he immediately stands up and runs as fast as he can he hears footsteps slapping the ground behind him he dosent look back the closest place there is, is Bucks.

He don't want to go to Bucks but he has to if he don't want to get jumped his lungs burn he bangs on the door Buck answers rudly

"The hell do you want kid?" He asks glaring

"Is-is dallas here?!.." He askes shaking from the cold and fear

"Let me get him" Buck grumbles annoyed

He shuts the door in his face dallas come to the door later on with big eye bags and a tad paler than usual dallas face expression stern but concerned

"Whatdya want?"

"I- um... can I stay a hide low for a little socs were gonna jump me.." Johnny mumbles afraid dallas is gonna say something rude to him

"Yeah come in" dallas says immediately

They walk to his room dallas closes the door locking it johnny stands there awkwardly dallas turns on the main light reveling Johnny's soaked and is creating a puddle on the floor

"Jesus christ kid how long have you been out in the rain?.."

"I don't know...I woke up in it.." Johnny mumbles looking at the puddle messing with his hands

Dallas sighs and grabs some pajamas for his soaking johnny he lays them in the back and grabs 2 towels he brings one to the front door where Johnny's standing he unfolds it and drops it on the floor

"Sorry dallas.."

"Dallas?..." dallas mumbles johnny only uses his real name when somethings wrong

"Clothes are in the bathroom lay your clothes in the tub.." dallas says

Johnny takes his shoes off and hurries to the bathroom he shuts the door with a click dallas sighs frustrated he cleans up the water mess and waits for Johnny to come out he sits on the bed waiting

Johnny comes out with his hair messy and the clothes 2x bigger

Dallas stands up and walks towards him he holds his waist gently and looks johnny in the eyes

"Look kid, I know I fucked up the last time you came over I shouldn't of yelled at you, insulted you, and taken my anger out on. I messed up real bad man I'm not suprised if you want to break up.."

Johnny glances down thinking he stays quiet for a second but looks back up

"The dallas winston is apologizing?" Johnny jokes

Dally shakes his head in disagreement chuckling

"I forgive you dal I'm not breaking up with you" johnny smiles and stands on his tiptoes kissing him softly dally tries to make it deeper but they part away

"I'm freezing dal can ya warm me up?"

"Of course baby doll"

Dally turns off the main light he strips except his underwear and they get into bed Johnny's back pressed against the wall dally holding him close to his chest both bundled up under the covers

They share a couple kisses that they haven't shared in a week

"God I've missed you johnny"

"I missed you too dal" Johnny says smiling big that only dal gets to see
