December 16th. If you just believe

☆☆☆

Based of the song "Believe" and the lyrics "Children sleeping, snow is softly falling"

☆☆☆

Lucy Pevensie slept soundly in her bed one December night, tucked under the covers to keep nice and warm.

She had been hoping and praying for days that it might snow, so that she'd be able to experience a real winter in Narnia, not the evil, cold type.

And as she slept, the snow outside began to fall.

It started off light, but as the hours went on it got heavier and heavier, covering the ground and everything else in sight.

It stopped snowing when the sun came up, and the light reflected off the newly fallen snow so much that when Lucy woke and looked out the window, it hurt her eyes.

"It snowed." She breathed, gripping the curtains in her hands as a grin lifted her lips. "It actually snowed."

She let out a small laugh at this, unable to keep back her excitement, and immediately ran to get herself changed, pulling out her hat, scarf and gloves too, to keep warm of course.

She had believed it would snow, and it had payed off.

She guessed anything was possible, if you just believe.
