Gay Panic All Over

Sorry for not uploading until now. I got caught up with school and stuff and totally forgot I had a book to write.

~Naruto POV~

I turned towards the girl who just confessed to me. Just as I was about to speak to her, I recognized her from school. It's the girl with purple hair, I'm pretty sure her name is Hinata. After talking with Neji, I found out they're cousins. I don't know what to say and turn to my friends. They're all just staring with different emotions in their eyes. Neji looks furious and something else. Jealousy maybe? But I'm not sure. I look at them for help on what to say but they all want me to answer and they're waiting. I turn back to Hinata. She looks me in my eyes as I give her a sympathetic smile and the kindest eyes I can manage.

"Hey Hinata, before I say anything else, just know that you're amazing and deserve so much. I can't reciprocate your feelings. I'm sorry that I have to reject you, but I don't want to play with your feelings. Maybe in the future if I get to know you better, we could get together then, but for now, I don't like you more than a friend. I'm very sorry Hinata. But if it makes you feel any better, we can still hangout, just the two of us." After I speak she looks at me as one tear rolls down her cheek. I wipe it away with my hand and look into her eyes. She looks sad but happy as well.

She spoke in a very soft and quiet tone, "It's okay Naruto, I understand. Thank you." We both smile as I place a kiss on her forehead. "You should go hang out with your friends, they seem to be waiting for you." I turn around and just like she said, the boys are waiting for me. I smile as I walk away waving to her.

"Bye Hinata! We should hang out sometime!" I say as I walk to my friends who are swarmed with girls.

I hear a small "mhm" as I turn around.

Once I get to my friends, girls are all over them and it's pissing me off. I don't know why, but I feel jealous. Why do I feel jealous? I can't have feelings for my friends, I doubt they like me back anyways. Enough thinking, I need to help my friends since it seems they can't run away.

I squeeze through the girls to get closer to my friends. I finally managed to get next to Lee and Kankuro. I think for a moment about what to say. What do girls like? Makeup? Not all though, some of them aren't wearing a lot of makeup. Dresses? No, that won't work. That's it! I know just what to say!

"There's a shoe sale on the first floor!" I yell as loud as I need to for all the girls to hear me. They all scream and run to the direction of the escalators.

"Thanks Naruto," the boys say to me.

"We should run before they realize there isn't a shoe sale," I say to the boys there. I know there isn't actually a sale there because I looked through the windows of that store.

We all started running and got up the stairs to the third floor where we met the other guys who ran off first. Of course they were surrounded by girls too, they looked extremely uncomfortable from the close distance.

I walk up to them and say, "you know they're all gay right?" I lie to the girls. They look at me not convinced.

"Well if they're gay, who's their boyfriends?" One of the girls say.

I walk right up to Neji with a smile on my face. I whisper a small sorry for this you can hit me later into his ear. He looks at me confused and then I softly kissed him. I can tell he's in shock since his whole body froze. But that only lasted for about half a second since he then started to kiss back, I'm guessing he realized it's to get the girls away.
