The moment I step outside of my room, I heave in comfort.
Releasing a few negative charges...

Emma...

I make my way to her room.

I think about knocking but, that's just not how it works. I barge in.

Tit for so many tats baby!

There she was. Sitting crossed legged on top of the heart of her bed. A loose pony tail tied at the top of her head, dangling down one side of her shoulder.

She looks up at me and lowers her phone down.

I smile before stepping inside and shutting the door behind me.
The vibe in this room... So much lighter!

"Hi..." I mutter awkwardly.

She half smiles...
Oh... What have I done?

"Hi." She replies.

I say the first thing the crosses my mind.

"So, umm-"
"Can I spend the night in here?" I say that and my heartbeats escalate. I felt unsure...

"What?..."
"Yours is occupied?" She smirks.

"Sort of..." I smirk back and approach her bed.

She gulps and I go no further.

I sit at the foot of her bed.

"Why's she here?" She asks.

"I don't know, I guess she got a little overwhelmed by Erik's engagement..." I shrug.

"I thought she had a thing for you..." She said and I felt slapped.

I also notice a framed picture of her on top of her bedside table.

I rise and reach for it.

I could guess it was a picture of her with her mother. Who I must say, was such a beautiful woman! I can see where Emma got all of it. They shared the same hair color and a few similar facial features, except for Emma's ocean blue eyes, they were a Kent's.

"May her soul rest in peace." I condole.

She smiles sadly at me.

"Luke?" She reaches for my hand and gestures for me to take a seat at the side of her bed.

"Yeah?" I pay her all my attention.

"Is Silver still in love with you?" She asks and my eyes slightly widen at her question.

Was she still in love? Love?!

"I would guess, but I wouldn't know for sure." I answer her.

"How about you?" She asks in a plain tone.

"Do I lo-ve her?" I stutter. She nods once.

"I might've felt something for her, but that was a very long time ago. I don't remember that feeling anymore." I inform her and try to perceive beyond her unreadable expression and unblinking eyes.
"Why?" I inquire.

"I don't know I just thought maybe, give her another chance?" She says and I frown at her.
She blinks repeatedly when I eye her for a couple of moments.

"But you don't really want that now do you?" I half smile.
Her face flames and she begins to chew on her inner cheek.

"Don't do that." I lightly pinch the cheek she was currently abusing.

She stops and her lips slightly part.

I force my sight away and clear my throat.

"Now scoot." I order and she instantly grins, scooting to the very left side of her bed.
