"That's kind of ironic, since both Percy and Clarisse have called Annabeth a princess," Leo said.

"I see what you mean, but when I compared her to a princess it was more of an observation and Clarisse meant it as an insult," I told him.

"It's true," Clarisse agreed.

["Get us... Mojave Desert]

"Nice," Ares said with a crazy look in his eyes.

"Not nice. They could've gotten in a crash," my mom told him.

"So?" Ares scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"So, if the driver crashed from speeding, the kids could've been seriously hurt at best and killed at worst," she told him.

"Oh and what a terrible loss that would've been," Hera said with a roll of her eyes.

"If my son and his friends had been killed because of reckless driving, the lightning bolt would not have been found causing war between Zeus and I, the world would be in ruin, and we would cease to exist," My dad told her, with barely contained rage.

"That's a little dramatic," Zeus said.

"No. It's exactly what would've happened," Apollo spoke up.

"You were catching on," Will observed. Annabeth nodded.

"Catching on to what?" Leo asked.

"It'll be revealed soon," I told him.

"You were trying to convince yourself more than us, weren't you?" I whispered to Annabeth.

"Yeah I was," she whispered back.

"No, but I took it as one," Grover said.

"Trust me, Paul. He may be a peace-loving environmentalist, but he has some very violent tendencies," I told my stepfather, with everyone who knew Grover well agreeing fervently.

"This is true," Grover and Annabeth said.

"What's up Pipes?" Jason asked his girlfriend.

"I just got thinking of surfing with my dad. I miss those times," she said.

"You surf?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Sure, but you're the son of Poseidon. How have you not surfed?" she questioned, confused.

"My thoughts exactly," I heard Nico mutter under his breath, and I repressed a laugh thinking of our first meeting.
