[Confession time.... sixth grade?"]

"Yeah, that's fair," Jason said, with the rest of the demigods agreeing.

[Whenever... the driver]

"Before anyone can make plans to prank me, or convince their children to prank me, we moved at the end of this summer," I announced to the group, but specifically Leo, Apollo, and Hermes.

"After all you've done for Olympus, I would never," Hermes said, although it could be because of the look my mom was giving him.

"Besides, you're too scary and Sally's too nice," Leo agreed and Apollo nodded in agreement.

[A word.... no diploma]

Everyone who didn't know her past looked down sad, even Zeus looked down ashamed.

[The only.... at sea]

"Smart. It's a lie within the truth," Athena said, impressed.

"Thank you, Lady Athena," my mom said bashfully.

[She... gym shorts]

Everyone wrinkled their noses in disgust, while Aphrodite looked a little green. Meanwhile, I was making a low growling noise and my mom had adapted a completely blank face.

[Between the... six months?]

"Rude," Thalia quipped, trying to get my mom and me to relax. It only worked marginally.

[Gabe had... lights out]

"Percy, honey?" my mom started.

"Yes?" I replied, feigning innocence.

"Did he ever hit you?" she asked.

"Sometimes, but it was mainly just threats," I said, knowing I couldn't lie to my mom.

I saw many faces get a stormy look to them, but none more so than my parents and my closest friends.

["I.... everything else]

Many audible gasps could be heard as people realized what that meant. Some even looked at my mom in shock, awe, and sadness.

"What?" Paul asked confused.

["You.... in harmony]

"At least Eddie is sort of decent," Hazel said, trying to look for a positive.

"Yeah. Eddie wasn't too bad, in all honesty. In fact, the few times it was just me and him, he was actually fairly pleasant," I admitted.

["Fine,"..... sweet home]

"Ah, sarcasm. Such a wonderful thing," Nico said, sighing.

[Gabe's.... fears melted]

My mom smiled upon hearing that.

[My mother.... or Gabe]

"Patience of a saint, right there," Thalia remarked.

"I'm not even going to argue with that," I said with an amused smile, "Raising me surely was no easy task."

"It was definitely challenging, especially around water, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world," my mom said before coming over and giving me a big hug.

["Oh, Percy."...... came home]

"Lucky!!" Leo exclaimed.

"Yeah. I'm glad my mom's able to do what she loves now, but I definitely miss the free candy," I remarked, causing my mom and Annabeth to share an amused smile.
