["I got...were glassy]

"Oh dear! Were you alright?" Mom asked Annabeth.

"I survived," Annabeth said.

"Barely," I muttered under my breath.

"That's not exactly comforting," Mom said, seemingly not hearing my mutter.

While Mom didn't hear me, Annabeth did. She sighed and grabbed my hand, which I appreciated.

["I'll rush... plan Macedonia."]

"What is that?" Frank asked.

"You'll see," I said.

[They... the help]

"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence," Clarisse said.

"Hey, I'm sorry. We were kids going up against a fully grown Cyclops, so excuse me if I was a little pessimistic," I replied.

[I hefted... rag doll]

I pulled Annabeth closer to me as I recalled how scared I was.

[The other... and powerful]

"If only it were that easy," Piper said.

"Oh, I know," I said.

["Get Annabeth!"... the hand]

"Nice teamwork you two," Hestia told us.

"Thank you, Aunt Hestia," we said.

[But we... on Nobody!"]

Annabeth and I stiffened when we heard that.

"You two OK?" Thalia asked us.

"Y-yeah. Just keep going," I said shakily.

["Faster!"... remaining ropes]

"That's not the end of him, is it?" Jason asked.

"Not even close," I said.

[The bridge... I mean]

Laughter from around the room, but I noticed Clarisse looking at me.

"What?" I asked, slightly scared.

"You said friends. You considered me a friend here?" she asked.

"You were more of a colleague at the moment, but close enough. I still wasn't going to allow you to get hurt," I said.

I could've sworn she gave a small smile at that, but it was gone as quickly as it came.

[Strength coursed... his eye]

"How?!?" Frank asked.

"Not a clue. Adrenaline maybe?" I said.

["Uhhhhhhhh,"... like Tyson]

"Don't let him fool you. As much as it pains me to say, he is not one of my good sons," Dad said with a sigh.

"I realize that now dad," I said.

["Kill him!"... cold blood?]

"Polyphemus is not a good cyclops. He is not like me or you," Tyson said.

"I know, Tyson," I told him.

["We only... false move..."]

Faceplams from around the room.

"How could you be so naive?" Jason asked.

"Hey, I was 13 and this was my second summer knowing I was demigod. I've gotten better," I defended.

"He has improved," Annabeth said.

"Thank you," I told her

"You are still pretty oblivious though," she said.

"Hey!"

[Polyphemus nodded... and thump!]

"Please be someone to help," Mom said.

"Oh, it is. You'll see who it is in just a second," I told her.

[A rock... we look."]

Cheers erupted from around the room, causing Tyson to blush, and Dad looked more relaxed than he has since we read the chapter with Charybdis.

[Tyson gave... is hurt!"]

Annabeth raised an eyebrow at me.

"I know how it sounds, and I know you know that's not what I meant," I told her.

"I know, I just like giving you a hard time. Remember, I told you I was never going to make things easy for you," she said.

"Nor would I have it any other way," I said with a smile before kissing the top of her head.

["You thank... for me?"]

Athena's stare at me softened just a tad.

["Which one?"... gold wool]

"How heavy were you expecting?" Thalia asked me.

"The weight of a normal fleece," I said.

"Why would a golden fleece weigh the same as a normal fleece?" she asked.

"Same reason there's a golden fleece in the first place: godly magic," I said with a shrug.

[I spread... of it."]

"How's Juniper, by the way?" I asked Grover suddenly.

"She's fine. I haven't been able to spend much time with her, being the Lord of the Wild, but she's been very supportive," he said.

"That's good. I'm glad to hear that," I said.

["Annabeth,"... Come here!"]

"Oh, that's not good. The sheep are losing interest in Tyson," Dad said.

[They heeded... us there."]

"That's admittedly a good plan, but is it enough?" Athena asked.

"Thank you, Lady Athena. We had enough time to get to the beach before the sheep lost all interest in Tyson," I said respectfully.

[Tyson looked... I followed]

"If her ribs are broken, carrying her over the shoulder might not have been the best option," Apollo said.

"Well I certainly wasn't going to carry her bridal style. I was careful and didn't jostle her ribs," Clarisse said.

[As soon... the ship."]

"And how, pray tell, is my daughter supposed to swim?" Athena asked me.

"I was planning on having her hang on to me since I was the strongest swimmer," I explained.

"You mean it didn't work out that way," she stated.

"No, it did not go exactly how I planned," I said.

["With Annabeth... each hand]

"You were so close," Leo groaned.

"Trust me, I know. That's just how it goes for us," I said with a sigh.

"That was the end of the chapter. Who's next?" Thalia asked.

"Katiebug is! She's the only one who hasn't read yet," Travis said.

"Very well. Hand me the book Thalia.

[I Go Down With The Ship]

"What?" Dad asked.

"You'll see," I told him.

"I'm getting very tired of those words," he said, and my mortal parents nodded in agreement.

A/N: Here's this chapter! I have 5 left, including this next one! I can't believe how quickly I've gotten through Sea of Monsters! I am looking forward to starting Titan's Curse though. Also, Katie makes the last reader. Should I start the list over and continue to randomize or should I keep the same order starting with Annabeth and ending with Katie? Thanks for reading!
