*Possible Trigger Warning, nothing too in depth*

Once Hestia released us, Annabeth and I went to our clearing. As we talked, I could tell Annabeth was still a little distracted. She hid it well in the throne room, but I could see it in her eyes.

"You wanna talk?" I asked.

She sighed, "I guess I just didn't realize how hard hearing about the Sirens would be."

"Yeah, I imagine it was. You were pretty shaken up from it," I told her.

"Yeah. Thanks again for saving me though."

"Like I told you in the throne room, you never need to thank me for that."

"I know, but I still thank you."

We fell into a few minutes of silence, until Annabeth spoke again.

"How are you doing?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"With reading about Tyson and Circe," she elaborated.

"Hearing about how we thought Tyson was dead hurt, but I'm doing alright. Circe was mainly just embarrassing."

"Aww, but you were such a cute guinea pig," she teased.

"I don't care, I much rather be human thank you."

"I'd rather you be human too, even though you did make an adorable guinea pig."

"Speaking of Tyson, we need to talk," she said suddenly.

It was my turn to sigh. "I told you I've only had these thoughts when feeling like a failure."

"Percy, you are not, have never been, and never will be a failure. At least not to those who matter."

"If you say so."

She sighed. "You know I love you, right?"

"I know, and I love you too. That's why I'll always save you."

She smiled. "And you know everyone in that room loves you too, right? Well, mostly everyone."

"I know."

"And to us, you will never be a failure."

"I guess."

"Percy, I really recommend you talk to someone about this."

"I know, and I will. I just haven't had a chance to."

She sighed again, but let it go for now. We fell into another silence before she spoke again.

"Oh! What was the deja vu about during your dream last chapter?" she asked curiously.

"You remember when Luke became Kronos?"

"Yeah."

"Well, before he awoke... I opened the casket and stood in a similar position to Dream Thalia."

"Do you think that's what she saw? Luke becoming Kronos?"

"Maybe. Who knows how these things work."

"Apollo."

"Ha, good luck getting a direct answer out of him on this mattter."

"Touche"

"I need to find Grover," I said suddenly.

"What for?"

"I have a question for him," I said, getting up and holding a hand out for Annabeth.

We found Grover fairly easily. He was talking to some nymphs and satyrs.

"Hey G-Man!" I called.

"Oh, hey Percy. Hi Annabeth," he said.

"Hi," she said.

"I need to ask you something."

"Is it to be your best man?" he asked.

"What? No!" I exclaimed. That did get me wondering who I'd pick though. "Why is that your first question?"

He shrugged. "Because it's you."

"He has a point, Seaweed Brain. You have thought about us having a future in New Rome," Annabeth said.

"Wait, what?" Grover asked.

"We're getting off topic here," I said.

"OK, OK. What was your question?" Grover asked.

"The empathy link is still active, right?" I started.

"Yes," he said, urging me to get to the point.

"Did you get anything when we were... down there?" I asked.

"Not as strongly," Grover said. *

"I am so sorry," I said.

"Don't be. You wanted to keep the link to know when I was in trouble again, and it provided me comfort knowing you were at least alive."

"Why do you think it wasn't as strong?" Annabeth asked.

"Could've been the distance or from Hera kidnapping Percy. Who knows for sure?" Grover said.

"Hera just might be lower than Zeus on my list for that," I said.

"Who's at the top of your list?" Annabeth asked.

"Hestia, hands down. She is the best after all," I said no hesitation.

"Thank you for that," a sudden voice said, causing all three of us to jump. "I have come to inform you that it is time to continue reading."

"Alright, thank you Aunt Hestia."

With that we started walking back to the throne room.

"Who's next?" Hestia asked.

"I'll go." Reyna said.

[We Meet The Sheep of Doom}

"Come again?" Paul asked, blinking.

"You'll see," I said.
