[That afternoon... blame them]
"It wasn't that bad!" Grover cried.
"Sorry, G-man, but it was," I told him.
"It really was," Annabeth said.
"Some friends you are," Grover huffed.
[Grover told... about it]
"Seriously?? Did you have to mention my skills twice?" Grover asked.
"Hey, I'm sorry. It's not like I knew my thoughts were going to be read. You have gotten a lot better at nature magic though," I told him.
[Later on... it's done."]
"And yet you teach Thalia," I said.
"My apologies, Percy. As I believed Thalia to be the child of the prophecy, I found it more crucial to teach her first. I can certainly teach you, if you'd like," Chiron said.
"Thank you sir," I told him.
["You mean... you're safe!"]
"Sally, can you be my mom? Leo asked.
"Of course dear. My home is open to anyone who needs it; whether it's just for a night, passage or as a safe haven," she said.
[That's the.. us yet."]
"I think we're running out of schools, mom," I said.
"I know, but fortunately you're going into your senior year, so this should be the last one before college," she said.
"I still don't quite approve of your new school," Paul said.
"Wait, what happened to Goode?" Rachel asked.
"Because a certain Cow Queen caused me to miss the last half of my sophmore and all of my junior year, they kicked me out. Paul tried his best to get them to reconsider, but they refused. I'm enrolled at Alternative High School now," I explained *
[As for... like that?]
"Did you miss me, brother?" Tyson asked.
"Yeah, I did. The Poseidon cabin felt a little lonely after you left," I told him.
Dad sighed. "I am sorry I couldn't invite you then, but I would love to have you now."
"Thanks dad."
["When would... fight them]
"I hate that you had to have that on your shoulders," Mom said.
"It's the life of a demigod," I told her.
"I know, but that doesn't mean I have to like it," she said.
"Oh, I don't either," I told her.
["You'll make...some day."]
"And that it did," I said.
"Yay!! It did its job," Tyson stated.
[The way... Monster Donuts]
'What pictures did Tyson put on my new one' I wondered as I played with the strap.
[I couldn't... old times]
Mom smiled. "That sounds very serene."
"It was. I felt very content, even Tyson had just left. How could I not when I had my two best friends by my side?" I said.
[A storm... Brace yourself]
"Really, again?" Mom asked.
"I had to get it across to him. I wanted to make sure he was prepared for whatever came his way," Dad said.
[I woke... lying there..."]
"Way to make it sound like I got attacked, Grover," Annabeth said.
"And giving me a heart attack in the process," I added.
"I was in shock!" he shouted.
"I know, I was too," Annabeth said. "I was just messing with you."
[I ran... the prophecy."]
"That was his plan anyway," Luke said.
"Too bad for him that I joined the Hunters," Thalia said.
["What do... "Percy, wait!"]
"Seriously, Chiron??" Thalia said.
"I had wanted to proceed with caution, as I did not know if you were in a stable condition," Chiron said.
[I knelt... so scared]
Thalia sighed. "Thank you Percy, for being the only one to take action."
"Yes, thank you. I can understand Annabeth and Grover being in shock, even Chiron, but surely the Apollo cabin especially should've been jumping into action," Jason said.
"Eh, once I knew Annabeth was alright, I was able to have a clearer head. I processed everything after we got Pinecone face some help," I said.
"Kelp head," Thalia said.
[I took... said it]
"Normally I'd be hurt that you didn't connect the dots sooner, but I can understand that you were concerned for Annabeth. Even if you did dream about me twice," Thalia told me.
[The girl's... of Zeus."]
"So what do you think? Best friend or worst enemy?" I asked.
"Usually best friends, except when you're being annoying," Thalia said.
"Ouch," I told her.
"You asked," she said.
"If only your dads got along this well," Hestia said, sighing.
I could tell that Zeus didn't like that statement, but he wasn't about to challenge Hestia.
"That's the end of the chapter and book, by the way," Jason said.
"Alright. Let's stop for the night, and start the next one tomorrow," Hestia said.
We all nodded, got up and went our separate ways.
A/N: And just like that, I am finished with Sea of Monsters!! The next one will be a break chapter, and then on to Titan's Curse!! Also, if you have any ideas for a break chapter, feel free to leave them in the comments! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy.
*The schooling timeline for Percy is really weird. At the end of Last Olympian, he was about to go into his Sophmore year, but in Hidden Oracle, he's in his Senior year (Last year of High School, for my readers from other countries). Something else that is weird to me is his how his age and grade lines up. His birthday is August 18th, and coming from someone else who's birthday is in August, when he was 12, he should've been in 7th grade, not 6th. So I apologize if it doesn't line up with the canon
