[My Best Friend Shops For A Wedding Dress]

Upon hearing the chapter title, most of the room turned and gave Annabeth a questioning glance.

"It wasn't me," she protested.

"No, but I can see it," I muttered to her, causing her to blush.

[My nightmare... ocean churned]

"Don't tell me the gods are fighting again," Rachel groaned.

"No. It was just a normal storm this time," I told her.

[Florida, I... and hooves]

"Once again, thank you for that lovely description," Grover said.

"You're welcome," I told him.

[Grover had... returned from]

"Why are we getting a recap?" Will asked.

"Maybe in case someone wasn't here for the first book?" I guessed.

[Anyway, in... from... something]

"What's going on?" Frank asked.

"Grover put something on me called an empathy link, which he was using to let me know he was in trouble," I explained.

"Do you still have it?" my mom asked.

"Yes," I told her.

[A bone-rattling... Bridal Boutique]

"So... Grover's the one shopping for a wedding dress?" Thalia asked, amusement coloring her voice.

"Unfortunately," Grover grumbled out.

[Grover dashed... Mexican food]

A lot of the people in the room looked sick at that description and Hephaestus quickly summoned the trash can for Aphrodite again.

"Yeah, it wasn't much better in person," I muttered to no one in particular.

[Grover trembled... window disappeared]

"Uh.. is someone stalking you?" Piper asked me.

"I mean... technically," I said, subtly glancing at Annabeth, who purposefully avoided looking at me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" my mom asked.

"I thought I was imagining it, plus I got distracted," I said.

[It must've... Riptide]

"I'm sorry, you slept with it?" Thalia asked me incredulously.

"Well, yeah. What was I supposed to do if I got attacked in the middle of the night?" I asked.

"You could've put it on a bedside table," she said.

"I feel safer with it under my pillow for easy access," I explained.

"He's got a point," Athena grumbled out.

My eyes widened in shock, but I didn't say anything.

[I thought... of bed]

"Why were you practicing inside anyway?" Leo asked.

"I have no idea," I admitted.

[I got... off evil]

"I didn't exactly teach you," Grover said.

"Hey, you did it while I was watching you. Therefore you did teach me," I told him.

"I just want to know if it had the same affects as the last time you did it," Piper said.

"Nah, there wasn't anyone to use it on," I told her.

"Care to fill us in?" Katie asked and the others who weren't there for that chapter nodded in agreement.

"Oh, yeah. So, in the last book, before I found out I'm a demigod, I used the sign on Gabe, and somehow that caused for the doors to send him flying up the stairs," I explained, causing everyone, even those who were there that chapter, to start laughing.

[The dream... Camp Half-Blood]

All the Greek demigods smiled at the thought of our home for most, and home away from home for me.

[Only one... like that]

"I thought it was because you were being petty towards your ex?" Leo asked.

"It was both dear," my mom told him.

[I ate... fine."]

"Oh, that's not totally obvious at all," Thalia said.

"Oh, like you could do better. Especially when talking to my mom," I retorted.

"Touche," she said. Everyone knows my mother is impossible to lie to.

[But she... my dream]

"'Trouble' is an understatement," Grover muttered.

[She pursed... word camp]

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Sally," Grover said.

"Of course, dear. I know what you're capable of," my mom replied.

"What's wrong with camp?" Leo asked, slightly worried.

"You'll have to find out," I said, not wanting to think of how much danger my second home was in.

["What is... you like."]

"It's me!!!" Tyson exclaimed.

"Yes, it is, big guy," I said, with a chuckle.

"Man, you really are a skater boy," Will said.

"I know," I replied.

[Oh, man... for me!"]

"Not the only place," Reyna said.

"I know that now. I didn't know about Camp Jupiter then," I said, with a roll of my eyes.

["Usually, dear... half-hour]

"Saved by the bell," Paul chuckled.

[My mom... underground alone]

"I don't blame you, Tyson," Grover said.

"Thank you, goat-boy," Tyson responded.

[I gathered... afternoon talk]

"Why?" Hazel asked, alarmed.

"Because I ended up going straight to camp," I explained.

[In fact...and vanished]

"So are you being stalked by a ghost?" Frank asked.

"No, I have a hunch as to who it is," Thalia chimed in.

"Well, don't say anything," I told her.

"That's the end of the chapter, by the way," my pop said. "Who wants to read next?"

"Meh, might as well," Clarisse said.

[I Play Dodge Balls With Cannibals]

Upon hearing the next chapter title, I got some worried and alarmed looks, but no one said anything.

A/N: Here's the first chapter of Sea of Monsters!!! It's a short one, but the chapter itself isn't very long. Fortunately, the next chapter should be longer. Happy reading!
