I Have The Worst Family Reunion Ever (Artemis)

The next morning, after breakfast, we gathered in the throne room. Nico, Thalia and I decided to still sit together, while Jason and Hazel went to sit with Piper and Frank, respectively. Annabeth decided to join Nico, Thalia, and I, which I was glad for. I missed having her close to me during the readings, even if it was only 4 chapters. Annabeth and I sat on the floor, while Thalia and Nico took the couch.

"I have to say, I missed this," I whispered to Annabeth.

"Seaweed brain" she said fondly.

"Love you too, Wise girl," I said.

"Hey, lovebirds," Thalia interrupted, "If you guys are finished, the rest of us would like to continue reading."

"Oh, right," I said.

"Great. Now who wants to read?" Hestia asked.

"I'll go, Hestia," Aretmis said.

"Very well," she said, handing Artemis the book.

"Hey Grover, come join us," I called out, before she could start.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes, now get your furry behind over here," I said.

Once he sat down on my other side, Artemis started reading.

"Wait what?" my mom asked.

"You'll see," I told her.

[Annabeth volunteered... "Please?"]

"I too would prefer that," my dad said.

[But in... a backpack]

Leo whistled in appreciation, "Man, Tyson, you're strong." 

"Thank you, fire boy," Tyson said.

"Fire boy?" Leo spluttered out, while us teens burst out laughing.

'I definitely need to introduce them. Maybe during the next break' I thought, as I continued laughing.

[We sneaked... it's awesome."]

I saw Chris stiffen slightly, and Clarisse grabbed his hand.

[Annabeth was... Cabin Eleven."]

"What?!?" Zeus shouted.

"I briefly was in Kronos's army, but there was an incident that made me change back," Chris said, squaring his shoulders.

"Why son?" Hermes asked.

"Why did I join Luke?" Chris asked. "I'll tell you why. It's because I was unclaimed for the longest time, and yet I was still in my own cabin."

"That's how Kronos convinced a lot of half-bloods to join," Luke said. "He preyed on the unclaimed, with the promise of recognition."

"So what made you turn back?" Hermes asked Chris.

"I was made to navigate the Labryinth where I met something that drove me insane," he said.

"May I continue reading?" Artemis asked.

"Oh, of course," Hermes said.

[I sort... of evil]

Thalia snorted, "So dramatic, Kelp Head."

"Maybe, but it was true, Pinecone Face," I said.

["Percy."... and howled]

"What just happened?" my pop asked.

"Demigod training," Luke said.

[Annabeth... "Voices inside."]
