FORTY EIGHT

"Oi, twat."

Kimi Raikonnen smirked at his best friend, seeing the man in front of him rolling his eyes at him before lifting his middle fingers up to flip the Finnish man off.

"Fuck off, Kimi."

Luiz Cohen released a scoff at his best friend whilst  he was driving, with his sleeping daughter in the car seat in the back seat.

Kimi chuckled happily at his best friend, glancing in the mirror of the car to see Michael and Sebastian sat either side of the child, each of them clutching one of her hands tightly.

"All I'm saying is, Larissa is more like her godfather than her actual dad." Kimi teased, watching the smile creeping on to the elder Cohens face.

"Larissa actually likes hugs and smiles a lot. She's nothing like you." Luiz grinned, seeing the Finnish man release a scoff.

"She will be when she's older." Kimi raised his eyebrows, mocking his best friend.

"Not if I can help it." Luiz winked. "The day she becomes like you will be the day that I won't be around."

"Better make it soon then." Kimi chuckled, turning his head around to face his goddaughter and niece, seeing her sleeping with her head resting on the shoulder of the Vettel man, whereas one of her legs was lifted so that it was on the lap of the Schumacher man.

"Over my dead body."

"Uncle Kimi?"

Kimi Raikonnen remained silent as he sat on the floor of his driver trailer, with his knees pulled up in to his chest.

His head was buried in to his lap, trying to mask the tears that flowed down his cheeks like a waterfall since he did not want anybody to see that he, the Iceman, was crying.

He had been scrolling through some photos on his mobile phone, before he had come across a bunch of photos that he had thought to be lost, holding the face of Luiz Cohen within them.

It was eleven whole years since the crash where his best friend had perished within the firey burning flames that had engulfed his car, since he had failed to save him and get him out.

It still haunted him to this day that his best friend was no longer around, and whilst he had tried to make up for it by raising Larissa to always be like her father, even though she had also picked up some of his mannerisms, it still wasn't the same.

Luiz was gone.

And he was never coming back.

"Uncle Kimi are you okay?"

Kimi was forced to lift his head up at the familiar voice, seeing dark eyes staring at him concerned, with the red of Sebastian's Ferrari jacket filling his vision.

"Hey, please don't cry Uncle Kimi."

Zahra Bailey crouched in front of her Uncle, seeing the man crying by himself in his Ferrari trailer.

The Bailey woman gently moved her body so that she was sat beside the man that she saw as her uncle, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him in to a hug.

She knew that Larissa was supposed to be on her way to see her godfather but she also knew that Kimi would not want her to see him crying, so she pulled a small pack of tissues out of her pocket so that she could help him dry his teary eyes.
