FIFTY NINE

"Where are you hiding, mausi?"

Michael Schumacher laughed as he looked around the Ferrari garage, trying to find a missing person, or a missing child who had decided to play hide and seek without telling anybody.

The young six year old Larissa Cohen slapped her hands over her lips so that her giggles could not be heard, the child having decided to hide in a cupboard which was up high.

Jean Todt had lifted her up and helped her hide in there.

Her knees were brought up to her chest as she was in a very small cupboard, though she still had more than enough room because she was so small, dressed in her father's bright red ferrari merchandise.

Her dark hair was in pigtails since Jean had plaited them for her whilst the others were practising, even giving the child some of his food since she had seen him eating and wanted some too.

Michael searched high and low for her, looking in all of the small places since he knew that she could fit in to some very small spots, until he found a cupboard, directly above the vending machine that was there.

His hands clasped around the handles of the cupboard, pulling it open abruptly to see the Cohen girl pulling a silly face at him, expecting to be found.

Michael returned the silly face instantly, making her giggle in happiness.

His large hands clasped around the hips of the young child, lifting her carefully out of the cupboard since it would be impossible for her to climb out by herself, and brought her body against his side, her small legs wrapping around his waist as her hands wrapped around his neck.

"Uncle Micky, you found me!"

Larissa beamed with happiness as she giggled maniacally, wrinkles around her small dark eyes from her bright and cheery smile, lifting one of her tiny hands to lightly press against his cheek, though he moved his head so that he could kiss her palm.

"I did, mausi!" Michael gasped in excitement, knowing that she would be scared if he told her off for hiding. "Your daddy is still looking for you! Shall we go and see him?"

"No!" Larissa frantically shook her head from side to side, making her go slightly dizzy by doing so, her plaits violently shaking in the air. "Let's hide from him!"

"You want to hide from your papa?" Michael raised one of his eyebrows at the child that was his niece, seeing her instantly nodding her head up and down, hands clapping together happily.

"Yeah! Let's hide from him!"

Michael chewed on his bottom lip for a moment as he thought about it, knowing that he had a race to go to soon, but nevertheless after seeing her soft face staring at him expectantly, puppy dog eyes making his heart melt, he agreed.

"Okay, but uncle Micky will have to go and race soon, so we may need to forfeit if nobody finds us, is that okay, mausi?"

"Ja! Ich liebe dich!"

Michael only pressed a soft kiss to his little mouse's nose and placed her on to the ground, following her as she ran off to find the both of them a suitable hide and seek spot.
