TWENTY FIVE

Daniel Ricciardo had wished that his parents had given him a younger sibling.

Though, it turned out that he didn't need to worry, his wish came true the second that Larissa Cohen entered Formula One.

Upon meeting her and spending time with her, she became the little sister that he so desperately wanted.

It added to the fact that she was the daughter of Luiz Cohen, one of his idols and the reason why he had wanted to race. He had wanted to race against the Cohen man, with his best friend, Jules Bianchi.

The hurt had never gone away after the death of Jules, since he died months after he crashed on the track during the race.

He did know, however, that Jules was watching over him and the reason that he had met Larissa.

It had to be.

He had wanted to race against a Cohen with his best friend, and whilst he lost both Luiz and Jules, he was still getting to live his dream.

Racing against a Cohen, and with his best friend, who was also a Cohen.

The Cohen.

And he could confidently say that he loved his new little sister and best friend with all his heart.

"I bring Pizza and beer, Danny boy!"

Larissa Cohen sauntered in to his hotel room, since he had given her a spare key card, with boxes of pizza and a crate full of his favorite beer.

He would usually invite multiple drivers to his hotel room for a takeaway and beer night, but he opted for a night with just his little sister instead.

"Lara, did you get my pizza?" Daniel rose an eyebrow at the girl as she sat beside him.

"Oh, of course I did. I also got you extra garlic bread, extra cheese and chicken wings." Larissa giggled as the Ricciardo man wrapped his arms around her to pull her against his chest.

"What would I do without my girl?" Daniel smiled teasingly, before kissing her cheek and allowing her to curl in to his side.

"Be lonely." Larissa coughed out, turning her head to look around the room in confusion. "Who said that?"

"Hmmm, I have no idea." Daniel laughed loudly, tickling her at her sides, hearing her squeal.

The pair soon started eating their food, occasionally taking swigs from their beer bottles, with barely any sound passing between the two.

It was a comfortable silence for the both of them, since they were both incredibly comfortable around each other.

"Did you ever meet Jules?"

Larissa stopped eating, lifting her gaze to meet the honey brown eyes of the Australian.

"I did." Larissa nodded, seeing the look of surprise form on to the face of the man beside her.

"You did?"

"Yeah." She smiled sadly at him, placing her pizza slice back in to the box, since she could tell that her friend was in a reminiscing mood, and thinking about his best friend.

"I had accidentally walked in to the Marussia garage, instead of the Mercedes one, because I wasn't concentrating on the sign, all I saw was the 'M'." She smiled sadly, seeing Daniel do the same.

"When was this?"

"The 2014 Japanese Grand Prix." She admitted sheepishly.

Daniel's eyes widened to the size of saucers. "That was-"
