𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 // 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞

after what seemed like hours of preparation, yoko had finally given midnight her stamp of approval for the dance. her blue hair had been curled, two spiky buns on the top half of her hair. with a bit of help and encouragement from yoko, the addams girl had on a bit more makeup than usual: a darker lip and darker eye makeup, eyeliner, and fake eyelashes. she paired her black dress (pictured above) with a pair of chunky platform boots and black floral tights, the look complimented with black and silver jewelry.

"you look perfect! he's going to die when he sees you" yoko exclaims, midnight quickly rolling her eyes. "i sure hope not" the addams girl states, yoko glaring at her. "figuratively, midnight. no need to ruin my compliment" yoko sighs, furrowing a brow as she looks at her roommate. "but i love ruining things" midnight smirks, yoko rolling her eyes.

rather than continue the conversation, midnight gets up to look at herself, ensuring everything meets her expectations. "you look incredible, midnight. don't stress. when will he be here?" yoko blurts, midnight softly rolling her eyes. before she can respond a soft knock sounds through the room, yoko letting out a soft squeal. "shut it. just- don't do... that" midnight scolds, the roommate quickly nodding as she moves to sit on her bed and grabs her headphones.

midnight rolls her eyes softly as she goes to open the door to her dorm, offering xavier a microscopic smile as the boy appears. as soon as his gaze falls on midnight, his jaw softly drops. "wow you look..." xavier starts, trailing off as he stares at the girl open-mouthed. "hideous? ridiculous? repulsive?" she questions. "i was going to say breathtaking. i don't think i've ever seen you with your hair down, but it looks great. just... everything about you is incredible. you're absolutely stunning and then there's the dress, the hair, how lucky i am to be going with you. all of it" xavier admits, smiling at the girl.

"this flattery is nauseating. seems rather fabricated" midnight retorts, somewhat bashful yet disgusted at his reaction. "you know, you look handsome by the way. i like the black bow, and your little bun is nice. but just to be clear, i do like your hair down" she adds, softly tugging at his suit jacket. "oh really?" he smirks, his gaze locked on her.

"definitely" she assures, looking up at him. "well i feel like i look unkept when my hair is down" he admits, offering a soft laugh. "not at all. you kind of look like a prince" midnight states, keeping her voice somewhat quiet as she remembers yoko's presence. the boy breaks out in a grin, softly shaking his head.

"what is up with all these compliments? who are you and what did you do with midnight addams?" xavier jokes, midnight pushing his arm. "oh shut it, thorpe. tell anyone i can be nice, and i'll kill you" she warns, softly glaring at the boy. "fine. wouldn't want to poke the bear" he smirks, looking down at her as she rolls her eyes.

"so, where is it you are taking me?" midnight questions, looking over to him for a moment before beginning to ensure she was ready. "i'm afraid i can't tell you that. but i think you'll like it" xavier admits, looking to her with a soft smile. "well then, i think i'm as ready for this adventure as i'll be, thorpe" midnight jokes, beginning to walk as the boy does.

after walking for a bit the teens begins to approach the edge of the forest hand-in-hand, midnight looking up at xavier with a raised brow. "what?" he questions, looking down at her with a soft smile. "are you taking me to your shed, thorpe? and i'm really supposed to believe you aren't the monster?" she teases, the boy swiftly rolling his eyes with a soft chuckle.

"not even funny addams. not even funny" xavier states, midnight offering a microscopic smirk. "it was a little funny" she argues, xavier shaking his head with a smile. "whatever. you're lucky you're cute" he jokes, the duo approaching the entrance of the shed swiftly. xavier shifts his hand from midnights grip to the small of her back, helping to direct the girl.
