a dark blue haze rests upon the forest, the addams twins approaching the old house side by side. "i cant believe you're making me do this" midnight sighs, the girl somewhat irritated with her twin. "i didn't make you do anything, midnight. you chose to come, so no complaining" wednesday scolds, her twin immediately rolling her eyes in response.

suddenly the building comes into sight, each plank and inch of the structure withered by time. the girls head through what seems to be the door, wednesday taking her bag off to release thing as she leads the way. thing begins tapping softly as he surveys the area, the twins each offering a soft sigh. "i was expecting more too" wednesday admits, looking over to her twin before returning her gaze to the hand.

moments after their shared confusion, somebody begins to yell at the addams twins. "who are you talking to, little girls?" the man spits, the twins turning around to face him. midnight immediately offers a glare, the man looking rather scraggly and frail. "use the words 'little' and 'girls' to address us again and i cant guarantee your safety" the black-haired girl warns, crossing her arms. "this is my place! get out!" the man screams, the twins sharing a look of contempt.

"thing? a hand here?" midnight calls out, looking down to the ground. within an instant the hand begins barreling at the man, scaling up his leg towards his neck. the hand wraps around his neck, beginning to choke the man out. the man screams and thrashes around, running through the area. although he fights it, the man ends up running away in fear after throwing off the hand.

"there's nothing here" wednesday sighs, clearly somewhat frustrated. thing begins to sign, both twins somewhat baffled at the suggestion. "no, i can't just touch something. my visions seem to happen spontaneously" the black-haired girl admits, midnight and thing turning away for a moment.

the blue-haired girl quickly whips back around, looking at her sister. "what if we just ask mom for help? it might be worth a shot" midnight suggests, thing swiftly agreeing. "i would rather dye my hair pink than ask mother for advice" wednesday retorts, clearly irritated at the suggestion. midnight softly rolls her eyes, finding her twins behavior slightly over-dramatic.

thing scatters around once more, wednesday growing increasingly frustrated. "oh, you want me to prove it to you?" wednesday questions, beginning to walk around the ruins and touching different objects. "no. nothing" she states, moving once more. "ah, i bet this will give us some real insight" wednesday adds, holding up a paper bag and jokingly whipping her head back.

"is there anything that seems to string the visions together?" midnight interrogates, crossing her arms as she stands across from her twin. "not at all. my visions are about as predictable as shark attacks" wednesday admits, grabbing her bag as she heads to the exit.

midnight follows close behind, wednesday pushing the door open until suddenly her head whips up. "god damn it! not right now wednesday, please" midnight mutters, jumping to faintly brace her sisters fall. wednesday shoots back as her body goes limp, midnight just barely catching her in time.

"thing, what do we do?" the girl spits, the hand beginning to scatter around frantically. for a moment midnight merely looks at her sister, touching her head. the thought of the blonde girl from wednesdays previous vision flashes through midnights head, watching as a group of pilgrims condemn the outcasts, most notably led by joseph crackstone.

she shakes herself out of the thought, moving a hand to grab her necklace as she looks up. "listen, i'll go try to find some sort of help. just- protect her for the time being" midnight blurts, moving her sister to a mostly dry area before racing through the muddy forest. suddenly she heard some sort of creaking, whipping her head around swiftly.

moments later the monster appears in front of her, it's eyes bulging as it lets out a swift growl. after looking at her for a moment it begins barreling away, midnight swiftly chasing after it. every single step brought the girl further into the mud, her mind solely focused on the monster. soon enough she arrived at some sort of clearing, foot prints making themselves clear in the mud ahead of her as the monster disappears.
