"ok, i'll show you guys how to make easy drinks as the time comes, but most of today will be cleaning. and taking orders" tyler states, the two artists standing side by side. after turning around for a moment, tyler hands each of them a pile of fabric and a bucket.

for a moment, the addams girl merely glares at the boy. "what's this?" midnight questions, tyler furrowing his brows for a moment. "your uniform, apron, and a bucket for cleaning. go get changed" he states, midnight rolling her eyes. xavier remains silent, promptly walking to the bathroom to change after setting down his bucket.

midnight swiftly takes her clothes and follows the boy, a glare remaining on her face as she considers the outfit and her impending tasks for the day. "everything ok, addams?" xavier blurts, moments from entering the bathroom. "just irritated about this atrocious uniform. and this day as a whole" midnight sighs, shaking her head.

"oh?" he questions, offering her a curious gaze. "can you believe weems signed wednesday and i up for a performance with the jericho high band? and even got me a slot of my own! what was she thinking? there's no world in which i would ever want to perform for people, especially not for some shitty pilgrim statue!" midnight rants, xavier offering his full attention.

moments after her proclamation he begins to laugh, midnight glaring at him. "seriously?" she questions. "i'm sorry, i just can't take it seriously. the idea of the addams twins performing with a public high school, just to be followed by whatever crazy shit you'll end up doing. it's almost comical" xavier laughs, looking at her with a smile.

"whatever, thorpe. you are the worst" midnight sighs, rolling her eyes as she contemplates his statement. "i'm just teasing, midnight. no need to take it personally" the boy smirks, patting her back softly. "yeah, yeah. go get changed, xavier" the addams girl instructs, pushing him towards to bathroom softly. the boy offers a playful glare, maintaining the gaze as he opens the door.

the two teens sit in the cafe, cleaning as tyler sits doing something in the back. "isn't this just exhilarating?" midnight questions, softly smirking. "oh, it's incredible. maybe if we're lucky, we can make a drink by the end of the day" xavier jokes, bumping the girl with his elbow.

moments after their conversation a customer comes in, xavier continuing to clean. midnight offers him an expectant look, the boy shrugging his shoulders. "seems like that's your job, addams. i'm cleaning" he smirks. "seriously?" she mumbles. xavier swiftly nods, looking away as midnight rolls her eyes.

the girl turns to the customer, her regular flat-faced expression equipped. rather than say anything, midnight looks at the woman expectantly. "are you going to order?" the addams girl probes, her tone harsh. the customer furrows her brows, instantly turning around to leave.

as soon as the woman begins to depart tyler happens to come out of the back, immediately glaring at midnight. "what did you two do?" tyler questions, the customer heading out of the door. "come on galpin, i obviously acted alone. no need to underestimate my talents" midnight retorts, forcing xavier to bite his tongue despite his desire to tell off tyler.

"whatever. just- clean. xavier, you deal with customers. no more issues, please" tyler sighs, xavier clearly irritated despite trying to hide it. "of course. wouldn't want to make your daddy mad" xavier whispers, midnight fighting to hold back a smirk. tyler turns toward the artist, his gaze locked on him.

"what was that, thorpe?" tyler questions. "nothing, tyler. nothing at all" the boy assures, offering a fake smile before heading out to the main area to clean up. tyler rolls his eyes, letting out a sigh as he returns to the back. midnight heads out to the main area, wiping the tables as xavier clears them.
