Elena Hart:When I first met Apollo,I was having a hard time.Apollo helped me get my life back together.He was such a gentleman with me.A little bit of an ego,but still nice.

Elena:When Jonah was born a few months,he warned me about the dangers of being a Half-Blood.So I found a way to avoid detection from monsters.
Percy Jackson:So that's why the constant moving is for
Elena:Moving has it's benefits.Monsters can't found them if we don't stay in one place or another.
(Percy Jackson and Elena laugh)
Elena:We didn't moved this year,because Jonah would be turning 12.I wanted him to complete 6th Grade before sent him to Camp Half-Blood...I still don't know if it's a good idea...
Percy:You want to protect them,I know.My mom went through the same when I was Jonah's age.She married a jerk with a bad smell to protect me from the monsters.But don't worry,Jonah is gonna be safe in Camp Half-Blood.Besides,his father sent me to protect him and I'll make sure nothing bad happens to him.
Elena:Thank you,Mr.Jackson.It really means a lot for me your doing this.Now I understand why my son admires you so much.
(Jonah Hart arrives)
Jonah Hart:(confused)Mom?...Mr.Jackson?...
Percy and Elena: ...

(In Montauk,Long Island,New York)
(Percy drives his car with Jonah)
Percy:(driving)So,Jonah,tell me what you know about your father.
Jonah:Well,I know that my mom had a "one night thing" with my dad and...I was born 9 months later...
Jonah:But what does my dad has to do with this "special" camp you and my mom are sending me for the summer?
Percy:(driving)Let's just say,your dad is close friends with my dad and your dad asked my dad if I could make him a favor by sending you to this camp.Think of it as his "birthday gift".
Jonah:Then why didn't he came himself to give me this "gift"?
Percy:(driving)Listen,I know you may feel a little resentful towards him because of his absence.And I understand that, my father was absent too.
Jonah:😏So both of our fathers are "not good" father.That's what makes them good friends.
Percy:(driving)...
Jonah:Sorry,it's just,this is the 1st time I've learned something about my father.I never actually through he cared about me.
Percy:(driving)It's okay.I don't blame you for feeling that way.Neither does your father.Parents tend to make choices,some of them aren't good.But some of those bad choices are done with good intentions.It took me a while to understand that...
Percy:(driving)Besides,it's not that bad.I went to the same camp when I was about your age.It helped me a lot and it will help you too.
Jonah:Really?How?
Percy:(driving)Camp Half-Blood is not like any other camp.It's a place where people,like us,can feel safe.It can help you grow your confidence.You can make friends here.
Jonah:But I already have friends
Percy:(driving)Jonah,I'm flattered,but I mean,friends your same age.Teachers don't count.
Jonah:Why would anyone want to be friends with me?
Percy:(driving)Come on,Jonah.Don't say that.
Jonah:But it's true.It's been through more than 11 schools in different states and everything is the same.My ADHD makes me an easy target for bullies.I can barely pass a class with good grades because of Dyslexia.I don't belong anywhere.
Percy:(driving)But you will here.I was born with ADHD and Dyslexia too.I was considered a "troubled" kid.You'd be surprised how many schools I've been kicked out of.I felt so lost,until I went to Camp Half-Blood.I got to know people who felt the same way and I never felt lonely again.Just give it a chance,okay?
Jonah: ...I will...
