Prison (COMPLETED) (book 1)

Chapter two

The next morning i was up before the alarm to shower time goes off, i really needed to pee and i wanted to go while jay was asleep so i jumped down thankfull that he didnt wake then went and did my buisness and as i was peeing i realized that im due for my period tomorrow, shit i need some pads but how am i going to do that im in a prison for christ sake.

Once i finished i flushed the toilet and was getting into my jumpsuit just as the alarm sounded.

"Morning Sophia" Jay said standing up behind me, i didnt turn around when i answered.

"Hello jay how was your sleep" when i finished buttoning up my jumpsuit i turned to face him with a smile.

"It was good thank you, why are you up so early?" He made his way to the toilet so i gave him his privacy by not looking.

"I needed to pee, so i went while you were asleep"

"Oh well you know you dont need to get out of bed for another hour for your shower, so do you want me to put you back up so you can get some more sleep"

"No thank you im wide awake now so i may as well stay awake" The cell doors opened to reveal scar face and the female guard to.

"Lets go jay shower time" Scar face said to jay who looked at me and smiled before walking out.

"You two seem much more friendlier then yesterday" the female guard said when jay and scar face left.

"Yeah we started talking yesterday so now we are almost friends, oh um i need to ask you something really important while the males are gone"

"Oh yeah whats that?"

"Well i realized that tomorrow i will be expecting my period so i kinda need some pads" her eyes widened at this.

"You get you periods wow you really are more of a girl, okay well i guess while the males are showering i could take you to see the warden, its just if things are going to be brought into the prison for any inmate it has to go through him first is all, for his approval im sure he will approve of this since its pretty inportant"

"Oh okay" I quickly put my shoes on and followed her out, it took quite a while but we managed to get there, this is a very big place and there are alot of doors so we had to keep stopping to get buzzed in.

We sat in the waiting room just outside the wardens office the female guard stood next to me as i sat there frantically trying to clean myself up abit i mean i am going to be talking to the big man of the prison i will be staying in the least i could do is make my self look presentable, i fixed my jumpsuit up and braided my hair, brushed my tounge along my teeth just incase something was sticking between my teeth when i was done i looked at the guard.

"Do i look okay?" She smiled and put her thumbs up in approval just as the door to the office opened and a man wearing a suit stood.

"Genson, in you come" he said and his voice was kinda deep making me shiver in fear but i followed him anyway.

When i was seated opposite the warden he intertwined his fingers together and sat them on the desk and watched me closely.

"Now what may i do for you" he asked.

"Um well this morning i realized that tomorrow im due for my period and i was hoping i could trouble you for some pads" The wardon blushed most probably the fact that we were talking about lady products.

"Oh, i see, Officer Milton your a female, it wouldnt trouble you to bring some in for her would it?" He asked turning to the lady guard whos name i now know as Milton.

"Of course sir, i was fine with it to begin with but i know it had to be approved by you first" she said.

"Very good is that all?"

"Yes sir, thank you so much" i said standing up.

"Your welcome"

Officer Milton and i made our way back to my cell to grab my towel since the males finally finished showering and went to have a shower this time not affraid that she was watching since she now knows.

When i was done i made my way to the dining area and grabbed my food going to sit next to Jay.

"How was your shower?" He asked when i was seated.

"It was good, i went to see the warden then had my shower" i told him then started eating.

"What for? you didn't do anything stupid did you?" He asked with a raised brow.

"No mum, i did not do anything 'stupid' i simply asked him a question"

"Oh yeah and what could you possibly ask him?" I blushed not wanting to say in a crowded area full of males that i had to ask him for some pads for my up coming period.

"Nothing" i mumbled, thankfully i had finished my breakfast and was aloud to make my way out to start work, but jay decided to tail me all the way there asking what i asked the warden, in the end i just said i would tell him later to which he agreed.

Unfortunatly today we were told that we had to work an extra two hours so by the time we finished i was so sore absolutly every mussle in my body ached so after i finished lunch i passed on going outside for our free time and went straight back to the sell and grabbed my pillow and blanket and passed right out on the floor.

I was woken to the sound of the door to the cell closing so i turned to see jay walking to go turn on the lamp blinding me.

"Ugh, to bright" i whined slowly getting my sight back.

"Have you been asleep all this time?"

"Im tired and im in pain my hole body is killing me working that extra two hours was tough"

"It wasnt that bad" he laughed taking his shoes off then sitting on his bed giving me his full attention.

"Yeah says the one who looks like he does some serious steroids or something, your all mussle compared to me and im a girl remember, this stuffs hard" i complained.

"Youll get use to it" is all he said.

"Dought it"

"Would you like me to put you up onto the bed sophia?" He asked when i went to lay back down, i thought for a second then decided yeah it would be alot more comfy then the ground so i stood up and threw my pillow and blanket up and jay stood up also so i lift my arms up and wrapped them around his shoulder while he lent down to put his hands on my butt the lift me up into the air sitting me onto the top bunk.

"Thank you cellie" I said, we were still holding each other with him standing in between my legs so i lent in and kissed him on the cheek then let go of him to fix my bed before laying down, he hadnt moved until i was tucked in.

"Goodnight Sophia" he turned off the light and went down onto his bed, he really is a big softy i swear, one day i would like to ask him why his in but we arent close enough yet for me to ask.

"By the way why did you go and see the warden today" he spoke up out of no where, i had totally forgotten about that.

"Oh yeah that, uh well, tomorrow is usually the time i get my period so i needed pads" he didnt say anything for awhile making me think he had fallen asleep until i was blinded a second time tonight by the light turning on.

"My god warn a person before you turn the light on will you" he stood up and looked at me.

"You get your period?" He asked completely shocked.

"Yes i get my time of the month just like any other girl"

"Wow, thats crazy, so did he approve or what?" He asked.

"Yeah he approved Officer Milton will be giving them to me tomorrow morning before shower time"

"Wow that man never approves of anything"

"Yeah well i dont think he wanted an inmate walking around with a big patch of blood on there bright orange jump suit"

"Very true, well i'll let you sleep now goodnight Sophia" he said going back down turning off the light, i stayed up for a while just thinking until my eye lids started to feel heavy then gave up fighting it and went to sleep.
