Prison (COMPLETED) (book 1)

Chapter 20.

The next morning i was woken by someone shaking me, nooo i need my sleep.

"Leave me alone, sleeeep i need sleeeep" i said throwing the blanket over my head.

"Aw come on baby i came all the way here to see you" my eyes snapped open and i pushed the blanket away and smiled, Jay who was in jeans and a polo shirt, And Officers Milton and Martin were here.

"Oh my good, i cant believe your all here" i stretched my arms out and Jay was in them in a heart beat, we hugged and kissed not caring whos watching.

"Im so glad your okay" he says kissing me on the forehead.

"My turn" i laughed at zacks eagerness and held my arms open for him we hugged laughing at each other.

"Hello Zack, i havent seen you in a while where have you been?"

"I was on holiday with my kids" wow he has kids aww thats so cute, i can just see it now he would definatly be a push over father if he had daughters haha.

"Well im glad your back i missed my Guard"

"I missed you to Sophia" lastly Milton stept forward and we hugged for quite a long time.

"How many time are you going to scare me like that, honey i was so worried about you, the warden said you had a heart attack, why didnt you tell us your heart wasnt healed yet?"

"Thats just it i felt fine, my heart wasnt in pain or anything it felt normal again, wait where is the warden?"

"Oh he said he had an appointment with Nick and his lawyer" im sure he is just trying to avoid me.

"Whats gonna happen to Nick by the way?"

"Didnt you hear?" Martin asked frowning.

"No whats wrong? Whats happening?"

"Warden was so mad at what he did to you then all the things that happened in court he decided that Nick is going to get the death penalty, his execution is in three days"

"What? I dont want anyone to die, i mean i want the man to suffer for what he did but i dont want him to die"

"Your always so nice Sophia, i love that about you i really do but he tried to kill you on more then one occasion, to me the death sencence is to good for him" jay said making me shake my head.

Knock knock!

The guard from yesterday harry i think turned and opened the door slightly poking his head out but immediatly pulled back and opened the door revealing.

Dad.

The warden stood there with a guilty look on his face one hand holding a brown teddy with im sorry printed on its belly and a balloon in the other saying get well soon, when he made no move i looked at harry.

"Harry can you come here for a sec" he nodded and lent down so i could whisper in his ear.

"Can you take the hand cuff off so i can go and hug him im the one that needs to apologize not him" he stood up smiling.

"Of course" he pulled a key out and uncuffed me then he pulled the blanket off me helping me stand, when i was up right he stepped back and grabbed my IV stand and followed me as i walked to the warden, when i was in front of him i wrapped my arms around him.

"I forgive you" i said, suddenly he started crying dropping the things in his hands he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"God im so sorry, i dont deserve your forgiveness"

"Its okay really i understand why you did what you did, its me that doesnt deserve your forgiveness"

"I could never be mad at you" he said pulling back wiping his eyes.

"Haha look at me the big bad warden of a maximum security prison crying in a hospital" he laughed making me laugh with him, he picked up the teddy from the ground and gave it to me and grabbed the balloon string.

"Can someone please explain whats going on, im highly confused" i jumped at the sound of Jays voice just remembering they were here with us, i turned around to three confused faces.

"Um guys id like to introduce to you the warden... My father" gasps filled the air jaws were dropped as they stared at us in shock.

"Shes serious, im her father i pulled a few strings to get her to my prison so i could finally get my father daughter bond that ive always wanted" dad said smiling down at me then he looked over at harry who suddenly looked scared.

"I believe your the one that told Sophia why i left all those years ago am i right?" All harry could do was nod, dad stepped forward and suprised harry by hugging him, he pulled away and pat him on the shoulder.

"Why is it that you always seem to be the one that saves my family, i never could thank you enough for what you did for my wife and kids"

"Dont worry about it sir, it was my pleasure, happy to help where ever i can"

"Thank you, alright lets get you back to bed" dad can and led me to bed and tucked me in i grabbed the cuff hanging from the side of the bed and cuffed myself then layed back looking at all my friends and new family.

Family!

Oh crap!

"Uh sir, i forgot what about Sophie?" He frowned at the mention of my sister.

"Your sister means nothing to me, but if you mean about the law suit, she is still going ahead with it, i talked to her lawyer yesterday and he said they are hoping to extend your sentence by ten years"

"WHAT?"

"I know i said that too, but dont worry now that im not only your warden but your father again i will hire the best lawyer to represent you"

"Thank you, but i have a better idea"

"And whats that exactly?" Dad asked but all i did was smile, everyone in the room frowned at my creepy smile.

A few days past any i was healthy enough to go back home, thank god, no affence but i like the prison more then the hospital.

Tomorrow is my court date with Sophie so today warden has gathered me, Jay and officers milton and martin to his office for the day to hang out, there was food drinks and games it was the most fun ive had in my whole life, we were all sitting on the floor playing a bored game when i thought now would be the perfect time to tell them, well, half of my plan.

"Hey everyone?" They all stopped talking and looked at me.

"So about tomorrow, dad i was hoping you could be my lawyer?"

"Uh Sophia im not a lawyer in a warden"

"I know i just need you to sit there next to me while my actual lawyer does all the work"

"Okay but why do you need me next to you?"

"For my plan to work i need Sophie to see you with me, i need her angry for all this to work"

"But she doesnt know im her father"

"I know my lawyer is going to susfully drop that into his speech, i know what my sister is like when shes angry, so if this works ill get out of an extra 10 years, but it will only work if we make her very angry, also can you ask mum to sit behind me shes gonna wanna see this too"

"Um okay, i guess we can do that"

"Good, tomorrows gonna be a day to remember"
