Chapter 14

Jay's POV...

We arrived at the court house and Officer Milton put the chained cuffs onto Sophias wrists and legs while zack did mine, when we were cuffed we were escorted to the busy room that supisingly had some reporters sitting in the very back talking a mile a minute the moment we walked in.

Sophia was taken to the front table where her lawyer is and i was taken to a seat behind sophia with the warrden sitting next to me in a white suit.

When i was seated the warrden lent over and un-cuffed my hands and leg cuffs freeing me handing the cuffs to the guard sitting on my other side, not long after the judge came out and sat at his seat in the front and the trial started.

Sophia went up to the podium and started explaining in detail of what she remembered happening when she was shot which i would have thought she said yesterday though they probably needed everything to be gone through one more time before the judgment was givin.

When she said the part of getting shot i started getting angry just looking at her i could tell she was upset having to talk about this to everyone, she turned her head and saw me looking at her and kept her eyes on me.

I smiled at her letting her know she was okay she smiled back and continued talking keeping her eyes on me.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? DON'T LOOK AT THAT LOSER YOUR MINE LOOK AT ME" everyone looked over at Nick to see him standing up in rage looking between Sophia and me, i clenched my knuckles trying to keep myself calm i promised i would be on my best behaviour but he is seriously testing my self control.

A hand went into my fist and i looked to see it was the warrden he was looking me straight in the eye making sure i stay put.

"Mr fyfe sit down" the judge snapped, Nick reluctantly sat down but kept an angry gaze on me, well right back at ya mate.

The trial continued without anymore disruptions from his royal pain in the ass.

"My next witness i'd like to call is Mr Keenan the warrden of the maximum security prison for men to the stand please" Sophias lawyer called, Sophia and i both looked at the warrden strangely how is he a witness he wasnt there.

Warrden stood up buttoning up his suit jacket while making his way up to the podium, when he was seated a guard came out from a door to the side of the room with a trollie carrying a TV and parked it next to the podium before plugging it in.

"Goodmorning Mr Keenan, thank you for being here today, now i believe you have something to show us"

"Yes i do, you see the day Miss Genson was shot i had asked to speak privately with one of my Officers, Officer Milton and when we were alone i clipped a badge onto her person that had a camera in it so i could watch the meeting between the two and well i have that video here today"

Holy shit i cant believe it so thats what he wanted when he asked to talk to her privately, i looked at Sophia and she was already looking at me in fear.

"Now please advise those who dont like the site of blood look away now" Sophias lawyer said.

The video played and all you see is Nick sitting in a small room smiling, then Sophia comes into veiw and sits in the vaccent seat in front of Nick.

"Nick, i uh came to talk to you and tell you that im going to be pressing charges against you for what you did to me yesterday, and to give you this its a copy of the report" Sophias soft voice sounded as she went to hand him the file, he didnt move or say anything he just kept looking at Sophia, after a few seconds she stood up and walked to his bed and sat it there.
