Prison (COMPLETED) (book 1)

Chapter 13.

The next morning i was woken by movement on the bed so i opened one eye and saw Jay carefully climbing over me to get out of bed.

When he was out he stretched then walked over to the toilet so i closed my eye giving him privacy, when he flushed the toilet i open my eyes and continued watching him move around the cell getting dressed and stuff.

When he was finished he turned to look at me and noticed me watching him causing him to smile and come over to me.

"Goodmorning i'm sorry if i woke you, did you have a good sleep" he asked, i nodded smiling up at him.

"Yes thank you i did, i always like falling asleep in your arms, did you have a good sleep?" I asked sitting up and wrapping my arms around him when he sat on the bed next to me.

"You can sleep with me whenever you want and i slept like a baby, are you ready to find out what happens today?" He asked wrapping his arms around me aswell leaning back against the wall and kissed my forehead.

"I just want all this drama to be over so i can live out my sentence in peace with you" i said closing my eyes.

"Well dont worry after today we can do just that, i promise"

Half an hour later we were both dressed and ready for our showers when the door opened and in walked the two Officers and suprisingly the warrden, jay and i looked at each other in confusion thinking the same thing, we're almost certain neither of us did anything wrong.

"Goodmorning you to" the warrden said happily, what is with this man and being so happy so early in the morning.

"Hello sir" we both said together.

"Um sir not to be rude but what are you doing here, did either of us do anything wrong?" Jay asked.

"No jay, you dont need to worry your not in trouble, infact i have some good news and some bad news, which would you like to hear first"

"You always start with the bad news" i said.

"Right well, when Nick was escorted from the room yesterday his lawyer gave him some news" he paused looking guilty which just scares me a little.

"Alright, what was the news?"

"He told Nick that you are infact a girl" my eyes widened at this news seriously what the hell gave him the right to tell Nick something so personal like that.

"But thats not the bad part" what the hell could be worse then that?

"When he came back to prison yesterday, he told everyone, so what im trying to say is all the prisoners know your a girl and not a guy" suddenly i saw my life flash before me as i started falling to the ground, Jay caught me just before i hit the floor carrying me to the bed sitting down with me on his lap, at the moment i didnt care, i looked straight ahead thinking about all the things the prisoners will do to me now they all know.

What the hell am i suppose to do now? Theres no way i could survive here surrounded around a bunch of guys who want to have there wicked way with me.

"Sophia? Are you alright?" The warrden asked nealing down in front of me taking my hand.

"Who is he to tell Nick something so personal like that? He had no right, now because of him every prisoner is going to just wait for the oppitunity to get me alone and physically abuse me" i said.

"You are surrounded by guards 24/7 not to mention Jay here is your cell mate and i don't think he would let anything to happen to you"

"I wish i didn't have to go to the court house today all i want to do is get back into bed and cry myself to sleep" i mumbled standing up.

"Well if you want Sophia Jay can accompany you today and tomorrow you can stay in your cell and relax" my eyes widened in shock at what the warrden just said oh my god a hole day of just relaxing that would be amazing i would deffinatly need that.

"Really sir?" Jay asked just as shocked as i am about the news.

"Of course but you have to be on your best behavior okay?"

"Yes sir i promise, come on Sophia lets go shower and get ready" Jay said signaling for me to head out the door first so i did, we all made our way to the shower room except for the warrden who went back to his office but said he will be coming with us today so thankfully i have all this support with me today.

When jay and i finish showering Officer Milton came over to us and gave us civilian clothing, me a black knee length dress and Jay a half suit.

When we were dressed and ready we had to make our way to the dining room for breakfast unfortunatly for me it had slipped my mind that EVERYONE now knew i was a female and the moment i walked into the crowded room all chatter seased and all eyes were on me silently whispering to each other.

Talk about awkward.

Jay and i silently walked over to grab our breakfast and walked over to our usual spots all while everyone kept there eyes on us, well me.

When we sat down i couldnt take the staring so i lowered myself down in my seat head low and ate, after a while everyone started up chatter again though i could feel the occasional glances my way.

I suddenly felt a hand go on my thigh so i looked down and saw Jays hand resting there with his thumb drawing small circles, i looked up at him and he was smiling down at me causing me to smile back.

"Hello" i looked over at the man sitting across from Jay who was smiling at me and not in a creepy i wanna do naughty things to you, but a i'm sorry about everyone staring at you smile.

"Hello" i said smiling back at him, when i looked at Jay again he was rolling his eyes.

"What?" He looked down at me when i asked and he shook his head.

"Sophia, this is matt my friend since i first came here, matt this is Sophia my cell mate" he introduced us, since Jay was introducing us i knew that this Matt guy was safe so i reached my hand over to shake when he gladly returned.

"It's nice to officially meet you Sophia, jayjay here has told me so much about you" he said in an i'm just kidding getting this man to talk is like winning the lottery tone, i just laughed and said.

"I swear what ever he said is all lies" he laughed in return shaking his head.

"So why are we all dressed up today?" Matt asked both of us.

"Oh i have a court date today and the warrden said Jay could come with me as an extra guard i guess you could say from that meanie Nick who shot me" i said he scrunched his nose up and the mention of Nick but his eyes widened in shock at the mention of me being shot.

"Oh my got he shot you? When? Are you okay? That prick" i smiled at how conserned he was for me even though we really only just met.

"Okay yes i was shot, when? Two months ago? Is that right jay?" I asked looking up at him and he nodded so i continued.

"Which is why i wasnt here for a long time i was at the hospital in a coma, yes i'm okay i guess i'm as good as i'll ever be for someone who nearly died, and yes he is a prick a really big one"

"I knew something was wrong since you were gone for so long and Mr talkative here wouldn't tell me anything, but im glad your okay now"

"Hey! I'm sitting right here you know?" Jay spoke up but started grumbling when me and Matt started laughing, i took hold of his hand on my lap continuing small talk with Matt and the occasional Jay when he feels like talking while eating the rest of our food.

When we were finished our food the guards and the warrden came to get us, we said goodbye to Matt and made our way to the courtyard where the truck was waiting to take us away.

"How are you doing?" Jay asked me half way through the ride.

"Im okay i just wish i didn't have to go, i don't mind going to the court room i just dont want to be in the same room as Nick again, it didn't turn out well yesterday, everytime i tried to talk he kept interupting me i was so scared"

"Don't worry you are in a room full of guards and a judge if he even tried going anywhere near you he would get in so much trouble" Officer Milton assured me though that doesnt make me feel any better.
