Prison (COMPLETED) (book 1)

Chapter 10.

Sophia's POV...

When i woke up from my coma i was told i was shot in the chest a mere few millimetres from my heart and i was out of it for around two months, i can't believe he actually shot me, how can someone have so much hate for another?

My chest feels so sore all the time now sometimes i have trouble breathing and other times its just a small ache. When everyone left the doctor had me do a few breathing exercises to other things to see how im doing and he said even though i seem to be doing find he still wants me to stay here for atleast a few weeks to make sure im 100% before i go back to the prison.

The next few weeks really test my patiance because not only was Jay not aloud to come back and visit mum came maybe once a week but i was bed ridden for the whole time with a guard at the door and because im still ment to be a prisoner i have my right wrist hand cuffed to the bed, in other words i've been bored out of my brain, there was absolutly nothing for me to do.

Thankfully the day came when i was aloud to be released, the warrden came and offered to drive me back which i was very thankfull for, for a warrden his very nice, we arrived back at the Prison at 9:30 at night and he had informed me that no one knew that i was returning so we were going to make it a suprise.

As we were walking up to the gate he called Zack and Milton to go to Jays cell immediatly and wait in there for him to get there apparently when he said everyone didnt know he ment everyone this should be interesting.

We made it to the Cell and we heard talking in side until the warrden opened the door i had stepped aside so they couldnt see me yet.

"Sir what is this about?" I heard Zack speak up.

"Well i thought since the three of you have been so good lately i thought i would give you all a present"

"Sir you didnt have to do that" Jays voice said.

"Oh, but i wanted to" he signaled for me to step forward so i did and all there eyes widened and jaws dropped.

"Hey everyone, did you miss me?" I asked smiling wide and waving. Milton was the first one to snap out of it she ran the short distance wrapping her arms around me softly so she didn't hurt my chest but firmly so she could express how happy she was to see me.

"Oh my god, Sophia i can't believe your here" she pulled back smiling at me.

"I know warrden here wanted to suprise you guys" i said looking towards the warrden who was smiling at me and Milton, but his smile dropped in fear when Milton spoke up.

"And you sir, why didn't you tell us she was coming i- i mean we would have givin her a little welcome home party" she frowned at him but you can see the teasing in her voice, the warden scratched the back of his head looking uncomfortable.

"I wanted it to be a surprise for you all"
Milton moved out of the way as Zack stepped forward engulfing me in a big hug making me laugh, he may look big and terrifying but he really is just a big softy, i wrapped my arms around him holding him to me for a bit.

"Hello Zack" I smiled to him when he pulled back.

"Hey you, how r u feeling?" He asked giving me a once over.

"I'm good now thanks all that rest helped alot" Suddenly the alarm went off telling us a fight had broken out so the to guards and the warden had to leave, the two guards gave me one last hug telling me they're happy i'm finally back i turned to the warden before he left.

"Sir i know this is kind of frowned upon but i just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me" I said going in to give him a hug, he stood there for a second before hugging me back.
