Adora and Catra were watching a memory of when they were kids.
Adora, Romeo and Lohni were teaching Catra one of their games.
"You have to throw this rock at the target on that plate. If you hit the center, you win" Adora explained.
"I'll show Catra how it's done!" Romeo threw a rock and hitted the iron plate, but not the center.
"My turn" Lohni threw her rock with her eyes closed.
"So close. Now you try, Catra" Adora gave her a rock.
Catra made that rock do several laps before throwing it. This bounched off the plate and flew above the kids.
"Ouch! Who threw this!?" .
Adora told her friends to leave that to her, so Lohni took Romeo and Catra's hands and they went to hide.
"Was it you, Adora?" Leech questioned, holding the rock that hitted him on the head.
"Yes, it was me. I'm really sorry" Adora answered with a innocent face "Are you going to tell Hordak what I did?" .
Leech made a terrified expression.
"Ehm, not this time. Just don't do it again" .
Romeo and Catra were giggling from their hiding spot and Lohni was trying to shush them.
After watching that memory, Catra and Adora started to laugh.
"That was so fun! Why did we stop doing those things together?" Catra asked, wiping the tears of laughter from her eyes.
"Well, we didn't stop. You were the one who ditched us to be Shadow Weaver's pet" Adora said.
"Pet?" Catra wasn't laughing anymore.
"You know, her pet, her little slave, her toy. Those were some of the things we called you" Adora confessed.
Another memory appeared on the wall behind Catra.
Little Adora was showing to her friends her robot toy.
"Entrapta made this for me because Hordak asked her to" .
"Wow! You have your own robot!" Lohni marveled.
"Can I touch it?" Romeo asked, trying keep his hands down.
"Of course. It was made for me, but we can all play with it" Adora said.
Catra looked at Adora's face, shining of pure joy because of that toy. The memory ended there and a second one appeared on the wall behind Adora.
It was night time and she was sleeping in her cot, with her robot on the pillow.
"I remember this night. It's when I lost my toy" Adora said.
"We should keep walking if we want to find the way out" Catra took her wrist, but Adora wanted to see the rest of the memory.
Little Catra quietly crawled to Adora's bed and took the toy from her hands without waking her up.
"What!?" Adora looked at Catra, who was showing a guilty face "You stole my toy? Why did you do that?" .
"Because. . . Because you always got everything you wanted! For once, I wanted to have something nice just for me!" Catra exclaimed.
"I always got everything I wanted? Catra, you have no idea what the Horde has taken from me" Adora told her.
"It's always about you, isn't it? Look at me! I'm Adora, the best cadet of the Horde! I have no worries in the world and everyone loves me!" Catra was making fun of her, walking crooked and mocking her voice.
Adora got so angry. Her  eyes turned green and she pushed Catra. The girl slipped and hitted the wall with the back of her head, making a crack on the ice.
"What happened? Catra, are you okay?" Adora asked. Her eyes were no longer green.
When she stood up, Catra scratched Adora's face with her long nails.
The two girls started to fight, but not like two enemies in battle, it was something personal.
Catra pushed Adora against the same wall she hitted with her head and the crack became bigger. The ice crumbled, revealing the room behind it.
Adora and Catra stopped their fight to walk into the temple.
"Adora, you made it!" Glimmer ran to her "What happened to your face? Did she do this to you?" The princess asked, looking at the bleeding scar on her face.
While Adora reassured that she was okay, Catra went to Scorpia.
"So, how was it to walk around with a rebel?" Catra asked.
"Oh, it was. . ." Scorpia excanged a look with Bow "Not the worst thing I've experienced in my life. How about you?" .
Catra glared at Adora and she reciprocated the look.
"How are we going to reach the oculus?" Bow asked, looking at it.
"Frosta can take care of that" Glimmer said.
Frosta raised her arms and created a long stairway of ice to the oculus.
Catra thought that was the perfect moment to grab the sapphire and get out of the glacier.
"Scorpia, keep an eye on them while I put my claws on that blue stone" Catra whispered to her friend.
She used her mask to transform, but when she tried to jump, Scorpia wrapped her tail around her back paw.
"What are you doing!?" Catra protested.
"We're not going to steal the sapphire" Scorpia told her.
"Why?" .
"We are in a momentary truce with the Great Rebellion" Scorpia answered. Bow made a smile of gratitude and Scorpia nodded.
"I'm not going to fail another mission!" After Catra said that, she was stunged and quickly fell asleep.
Scorpia carried her friend on her back.
"I'll tell Hordak that you've taken the Sapphire of Time before us" She said to the rebells and used the stairway to get out of the temple.
Frosta created a vase of ice around the Sapphire of Time to hold it.
"Mission completed!" She smiled to Glimmer.
"Did something happen after we got separated?" Adora asked, noticing there was less hostility between the two princesses.
"Frosta and I had a talk, and I've decided to give her another chance" Glimmer explained.
"That's good. To be honest, today's little accident allowed me to see a different side of Scorpia" Bow said.
"And you, Adora? Why did Catra scratch you?" Glimmer asked.
"I don't know. I remember that I got angry and then. . . I'm not sure" Adora confessed. It was like her brain had a black out.

Catra woke up on the Horde ship, which was heading back to the Fright Zone.
She was laying down, with Scorpia holding her head.
". . .You stunged me?" Catra breathed.
"I'm sorry for that, but we couldn't possibly defeat four rebells on our own" Scorpia lied.
Catra stood up and walked away.
Scorpia looked at her claw and saw a stain of blood on it.
"Catra are you bleeding?" Scorpia asked.
Catra stopped walking. She touched the back of her head, and saw the blood on her head, which was coming out of the wound she got when her head hitted the ice wall.
"What happened in that glacier?" Scorpia wanted to know how she got hurt.
"Nothing! I just slipped on the ice" Catra swore without looking at her.
She started to think about the night she stole Adora's toy. After she took it, she went to play outside the dormitory, but that little robot wasn't giving her the same joy it gave to Adora. Catra got so angry that she threw the toy against a wall and broke it.
She didn't know that what made Adora happy wasn't the toy itself. The little robot was an act of love for her, that's why Catra didn't feel anything when she was playing with it.
After Catra broke the toy, Shadow Weaver appeared next to her.
"Was that Adora's toy?" The woman asked, looking at the pieces.
"Yes. . . " Catra murmured.
She thought Shadow Weaver was going to punish her, but instead she petted her head.
"You broke it because you don't like Adora? I understand. I don't like her either" Shadow Weaver said.
From that moment, she became Catra's mentor and the closest thing she had to a mother.
